Getting an install error.

It's missing a DLL so won't start.
Tried reinstalling it, (like suggested), still no go.

Hi guys is see the Download button takes me to the 64bit Update instead of the Full version but the Full Version is available in the Version History section just thought I'd mention it to the People running the site.

BTW thanks for all the good stuff on you're site guys:love heart::angel:

As I was told by the developer himself, @aldostools stated that MOST OF the tools in the 4.8.1 collection are pretty outdated at this point in time... But yes, I also have a personally customized build of this toolset with a re-skin and some commercial apps plus some newer scene tools included. I can't remember everything I added but I will post pictures for any that may pursue this kind of project themselves.

How does one get bg transparency to work?

so you can have fully visible background behind the buttons in the menu?

here are some visual examples of what I have been tinkering with
bgimage example.png

values example.png

I keep changing the &H value @ bgcolor but it doesn't give anything but colors and shades

I used &HF00 to make "actual background" mildly noticeable from "icon's background"

Icon backgrounds are not transparent because I was waiting to get actual transparency in the tool GUI first.

Also wondering if there are more values I could use than this? because I can't find them online.

Use *.ico with transparency (8bit instead 1bit ;]).

For the area that is "between the buttons"?

My mistake, here is better image of what I meant maybe...

bgimage example.png

*referring to white area between the "Colorswap" & "fat32format" buttons*

I left "bgcolor=" blank this time so that the area I'm talking about would be more visible

Also made the background for "red_folder.ico" transparent.

Last image was bad idea because I was using "bgcolor=&HF00" which was a shade of black barely discernible from the background that I was using on the icons. Not the icons themselves, but the white area in between all of those icons.

Unless you mean the 1bit directly is affecting the area in between the images? I use online transparency maker to make the back-layer transparent but is still showing white on cleared area. I did not make transparent background for the 2 buttons in the image above yet to better display how the tools menu is handling these .ico's, even with transparency applied to the red_folder icon I am using.

How to do transparency 8bit instead of 1bit if so? Because even .ico with image format "BMP8" is still giving me white on the area that should be transparent. Not sure but I've tried about 7 different converters and online tools.

I am confused now. :) You saying that You want white area from screenshot in post no.15 to be transparent. I was thinking that You talking about black area around red icons from screenshot in post no. 13. So I assumed, icons don't have full 8bit alpha but 1 or 4 - which would be just a matter of editing icons. But if You need that white are begone, I don't know if this is even possible. It is winapi form bg, if You don't have a way to control it by RGBA, then You can do nothing.

Yes I also tried myself and couldn't get the background Transparent with Win10 which is why I just fully Customized all the Icons with .PNG

I'VE tried PeExplorer and Resource Hacker btw
