For activation of licenses, the system needs to be activated ie have the "act.dat" file by activating the system via PSN. On CFW reactPSN can inject fake act.dat, but the problem comes for HEN users, since reactPSN cannot work with HEN (as it fails to get the correct console id (idps)). This poses a big threat to video game preservation in the future as when the psn support ends for the PS3 users will not be able to get their systems activated and hence not able to play games in psn (.pkg) format.
I found a workaround to this, first I will obtain the idps from the HEN console using homebrew tools, then I would spoof my IDPS as that of the HEN console on a CFW console, use reactPSN to generate the act.dat and then copy the act.dat from this console and put this act.dat in the HEN console in the exact same directory where it should should be if the act.dat was created by PSN.
Will this method work and will my HEN console be activated allowing me to activate licenses.
