PS3 webMAN mod folder not showing

I thought it would be an easy to find solution to this since it is a fairly "common" problem afaik but, after a 15min search I couldn´t find anything usefull, so I coming into you, guys.

As simple as the title is, wmm folder (aka "My games" folder) is not showing in my xmb. Is it a category_games.xml problem?? cuz I could see the folder when I first installed Rebug 4.86 but some other icons were missing (cofcofquestionablestorescofcof) and others were showing wrong names, the "newly" added "Install packages" from RB was showing as the old "Package manager", for example. So I replaced the mentioned .xml for the one I used on RB4.85 that corrected these problems but made the wmm folder disapear D:

How can I fix this? Do I have to personally modify the .xml? How do I do that (I have basic programming knowledge)?

yeah reinstall webman...but dont install anything else till you know webman works

If you are able to access the webman page from internal web browser, webman should be running.
Hopefully, you took the precaution of backing up the xml file before you modified/replaced it. If so, and webman is running, you can ftp to the ps3 and replace with original and work from there.

Compare the two files to see the differences if you choose to work further on the xml files. category_games.xml does control the display of "my games" on the xmb IIRC....

You guys mean reinstalling until the folder shows up?

WebMAN is working, that´s for sure and no, I didn´t made a back up but that´s because I can get the original just by reinstalling the CFW so I thought that would be a little more "mess proof" than having 2 files with the exact same name.

Also yes, I am intersted into work further on the xml files. What editor should I use? Just notepad++? Or is there a more specific one for this task? I used to work using Geany

i would make sure i had newest webman 1.47.26. then install it and then hold down L1 for full...yes all those things. even if it is working cause maybe it reinstalls/modifies the xml when webman installs. newest is only month or two old i think.

I reinstalled the latest version probably a dozen of times and it is still not there :c

I am pretty sure it´s a category_game.xml problem but I don´t want to lose its current state, so I would like to modify it myself so it also shows "My games" folder
save the xml you like. install rebug. if webman dont come back then put your xml back. if he does come back then use rebug xml as base and add from the saved one...
