Were some old usernames purged when the site went from scene to place

I have an old user name on here: psxpetey
I have tried to login with my old password, I've tried to recover the password with the email and username and even got an error: username does not exist? I still have the emails from when I signed up for that username.

ahhhh I understand I just it assumed it had changed because whenever I google scene this place comes up. according to the way back machine no captures from scene since april so I guess its gone now.

There wasn't ever any database transfer from psx-scene.com to psx-place.com.

ps2-dev.org aka psx-scene.com died (it was a desert for few years anyway).
