PS3 What is CU and how do I use it with RPCS3?

Thanks for the answer but, my question is: a way to wrote a memory cheat code with RPCS3 and use like a .cht file into Arthemis PS3.

Bro i don't recommend you using RPCS3 there are several problem with the game.

my laptop intel i7 with rtx 1080 and 8gb ddr6 ram

Like vanquish has only 17 fps and 30 vps are not good for a while also that exclusive games are not working for all.. The problem is ingame

Use a real ps3 console.. I warn everybody out there to not using this emulator because not stable.

Brute force save data should be practically the same procedure for both emulated and real hardware. So, maybe that does fall into some of the users knowledge here.

the problem with save-games and RPCS3, is that RPCS3 doesn't implement at all the secure encryption layer from the PS3.
So for example, there's no need to "decrypt" a savegame from RPCS3, because the secure_file_id was never used to encrypt the data.

Anyways, as a result of this dev-shortcut (?), tools like Bruteforce savedata (or Apollo) won't work with those emulator-generated save files. (These tools assume that the save files are encrypted and generated by a PS3)

probably you can still use BSD or Apollo, but you need to force the tools to skip the decrypt/encrypt process.

In Apollo, you can achieve that if you edit the games.conf file, and change the "secure_file_id" to:
Code:
; My game
[BLES12345]
;disc_hash_key=
secure_file_id:UNPROTECTED=554E50524F54454354454447414D4500

I agree with this statement. My PC isn't a powerhouse by all means, but it is 6 cores overclocked to 4.8ghz and an OK gpu (R9 280x) and it runs current/last gen console emulators horribly. Unless they have a beastly machine (not to mention RPCS3 is in constant development still) or they are just experimenting (something I've done many times) the there is no real replacement for original hardware (at least for now, the next few generations of PC hardware will catch up and run it flawlessly)

I remember there was a time when my old PC couldn't run Ps2 emulators all that well. But now it's pretty flawless.
My stance on emulators, personally, is that they are amazing for archival use. Because eventually, all hardware is going to fail. And games will be lost to time if not for emulators.

Haha, now this is a full blown technical reply. And something I always enjoy being corrected on. I am forever learning in these halls
