i have 2 ps3 slims that are working good and i plan to keep one and sell the other but i dont know which one i want to keep, the 2000 model is cfw compatible and the 3000 has ps3 hen, i know the 65nm are alot better than the 90s but i still have the fear of it getting ylod cuz the rsx dies, i both of them run under 70c from what i tested in gt5 with mebman set to atuo at 63c at 45% fan speed on the 65nm.

CFW is always preferred. I have a Slim model that has been running well since 2012. If you had a Non-BC Fat PS3, I would say to get rid of it and keep the newer version. In your case, I would keep the one that can run CFW and sell the HEN one.

delid those things and you can get them running cooler, I did a delid on my 2000 and it runs in high 50's with ambient room temp of 75.

i think the 3000 runs cooler ill have to test again but i think the 2000 runs that hot due to not having enough paste on it since i ran out right at the end, ima test the 3000s temps rq and see if they are better.

The 3000 is the worst slim model. First of all is not jailbreakable, it is more junk than any other ps3. second the superslim model are better than the 3000 slim models

if by jailbreak u mean cfw then both the 3000 and super slim are the same are both bad by ur own words, i think even without cfw or hen they are still good systems.

so after about an hour of playing the 3000 got to 58c max and didnt go higher not sure if thats good temps or not but this one was repasted well.

Just a little bit of advice, I'd stop worrying so much about temps. I had this same problem with my Xbox 360. I was so paranoid that I'd get rrod that I actually stopped playing the system. Unless you have one of the older phat models of either system, I wouldn't worry about it. It's liable to prevent you from enjoying the system. Your temps are fine, in fact a little cool anyway.

I second what Charles_n_town said. But if you are really concerned, try undervolting both Cell and RSX instead of deliding. Delid is very risky, while undervolting can have great results, and you don't risk damaging your console forever. But it's your choice, OP.

the 3000 im not so worried about since its not even getting 60c its the 2000 that almost pushing 70c i feel like that might be a bit to hot for it, ill prob just crank fanspeeds up since i dont really care about a little extra noise and just forget about it.
