PS2 wLaunchELF Release Thread

TBH What this even means that it is not supported? HDD is not visible at all? Cannot be formatted? Cannot reach boundary after first 2TiB for partitions?

I copied some cover arts on OPL ART folder into a 2TB HDD (2048MB +OPL partition). I copied one with a bad name and wanted to rename it. I ended up copying it again with the right name, since I couldn't see it using Wle file browser.

Indeed it doesn't shows all the cover arts I have. For example I cannot see even one of the POPS games cover arts (i have them named like CRASH1.ELF_BG.jpg and so on). I can only see the Ps2 ones with game ID and I'm not sure if there are all of them.

There's a reason why Wle file browser doesn't show me all the present cover arts? Should i use a particular version of Wle for brwsing the HDD?

Even if it doesn't see them, it correctly copied the covers, since on OPL they show up. I'd just want to delete the garbage ones (with bad names, like I forgot to put _BG into the filename).

I rarely enter, I can't keep up with the messages.

So, I firstly thought Wle has a limit on the max number of files it can show on a folder. But then it seems weird to me it doesn't shows the covers starting from the first one but starting from the first with the ID as prefix and the "art extension" ( _**/_***) as last characters.
It doesn't shows the APPS covers or the ones without the art extension.

Oh, what date am I meant to set in the configurator? I never quite got how to actually work that thing, I'll have to acquaint myself with it. I should also ask: there was a ULE fork for launching VCDs as is, how do I get that working with the ULE fork for exFAT or would they essentially be unusable together?

I've noticed a bug in pcsx2,
if you just run the .ELF directly from your pc storage it'll only be able to mount memory card 2, memory card 1 is reported back as 0bytes.

The bug seems to carry over if you reload the uLE .ELF from other devices whilst the ps2 filesystem is mounted in pcsx2.

If you boot uLE from cdrom iso in pcsx2 the bug doesn't happen, an if a card is blank it'll write the B?DATA-SYSTEM folder with history & icon.sys to the card, maybe this is because the mech takes the region info from the cdvd controller & secrman?

Also there seems to be a slight issuse with cdrom vs cdfs, if you use fastboot it'll use cdrom but if you don't, it doesn't recognize cdfs as a valid file path.
