Exactly, it is as you say, it loads the entire log, even the QR codes, but once I give system memory, it denies me access.

the bgtoolset will be moving to the new site ps3xploit.me in the near future. maybe you will have better luck then. in the mean time, you can use hen to run homebrew.

Not exactly, ps3xploit.me won't be used as an umbrella URL.
Everything will be hosted in the same place, a new domain name will serve as umbrella, it will be used to provide free sub domains to devs not wishing to bother getting their own domains however the PS3 Toolset will use its own new domain name and ps3xploit.me will be used as a replacement for **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new).

bgtoolset works on OFW and HFW. It also supports CEX and DEX from 4.80 and later.

The domain is currently unavailable. It will be back soon. I suggest to wait a few days.

Yes, I just happened to check and the DNS servers there don't respond to the ** ** www.ps3xploit.net > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com) > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com (or **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new)) domains.

I was able to use btgtoolset using primary dns 173.245.59.128 and secondary 1.0.0.1 and typing in browser ** ** www.ps3xploit.net > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com) > Domain no Longer owned by team** (NEW URL = http://ps3toolset.com/bgtoolset

Just tested that it didn't work for me sadly :/

173.245.59.128 and 173.245.58.122 are responding correctly again. You technically don't need both - you just need one to be working correctly.

Although you can get to the tools site using one of the two 173.245.x.x DNS servers, you'll get an "access denied" error when you try to switch to the "Memory Manager" tab. I assume they're making changes to the site right now.

So would or wouldn't be able to get cfw? I'm not home now so I can't check lol

When I used the DNS trick a couple of days ago I also went to the memory manager and it said access denied also. I realized you have to click the tab to the right, systems tools I think. Then everything loads like normal and I was able to CFW no problems. Hopefully this helps you out.
 
Is there any way to hack our PS3s and install CFW in the meantime? I have a PS3 Slim model CECH-2000 which is currently on OFW 4.78. I've been doing a lot of searching and saw the DNS trick for bgtoolset but that doesn't seem to work for me as nothing loads up when I go to the address. Can anyone confirm that whether or not the DNS trick still works? I also saw th new ps3xploit.me site but it looks like not all the tools are available. Like I can go to the flash dumper but I can't go to the flash writer. I have also heard people talking about some sketchy-looking Russian site that has bgtoolset mirrored on it that has worked for people but was too afraid to look into that further without getting some information from here first. I have also seen guides on how to locally host the exploit but all those guides point to the old ps3xpoit domain and I can't see on the new domain how I can get what's needed to locally host the exploit. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Been doing some more searches and came across this comment from bguerville himself regarding the issue. Just figured I would post it here in case others are searching and would like to see it. But basically, it will come back and we just need to give it time.

This IP only works with bgtoolset, it does not work with the nopsn site or the ps3xploit site structure.
