Does anyone have a working widescreen patch for Shadow the Hedgehog? Patching the ISO with the one over at PCSX2 results in the image being squished even harder and the menus and subtitles being broken.

Well, it's gonna sound stupid, but by the time I sat down to write this guide I realized I... forgot all the details and remembering them would require me to basically retrace all my steps. I did post the files I ended up with elsewhere on the net, so with a bit of googling you should be good.

Here you go. You can clearly see that the UI (and, well, everything else) is normal on the first level, but as soon as the Wu Shi Academy starts, all the 2D stuff is borked up.

The wiki lists MK Shaolin Monks as playable with config for both PAL and NTSC versions, but in reality the custom config only really fixes the NTSC version. The PAL version starts glitching more heavily on the second location and once you get to the Wu Shi academy it completely craps itself...

Just tried it. Dusted off the stock HDD, updated it with the latest OFW, downloaded the game and... same thing. A black screen, and if you try to quit the game via the PS button menu, the console reboots itself.

But that's the thing though, it's not modded, it's legit. Bought with actual money and downloaded from PSN.

Just updated from 4.89.1 HFW to 4.90 OFW and then 4.90.1 HFW and I can't install HEN - whenever I try to open the ps3exploit.me page in the PS3 web browser, it redirects me to some nonsense EDIT: Never mind, my bad.

Tried the NTSC version with this config. All seems to run fairly well, but sometimes the weapon swing trail goes all technicolor, like here It doesn't always happen though and I wasn't able to deduce what makes it go like this.
