Wasn't really sure where to post this, I think here makes the most sense.
3DMark is a Windows benchmark thats been around forever. Since Futuremark released some of the old ones for free, I was curious what kinda scores/performance the PS4 Pro would get.
Notes:
1) This is kinda more benchmarking the quality of the Linux driver, it's vulkan support, and the efficiency of Wine more then anything.
2) Everything was ran maxed out as much as possible (16x AA, 1080p, etc). Can't do 4k in PS4 Pro Linux with modern 7.0 kernel/CachyOS.
3) Because they are benchmarks, they absolutely push all the features of DirectX, straining proton conversion layer, it's literally it's worse nightmare. Some games released way after these benchmarks are still playable for example, this isn't very 'Real world' performance of games of said era.
4) Again, this is kinda pointless, but it's a 'because we can' thing. Might be interesting to compare it to base PS4 or PS5.
5) I used 2GB VRAM Linux boot loader, which I also use in regular usage.
Results:
3D Mark 99 - coudn't get it to run.
3D Mark 2000 - couldn't get it to run.
3D Mark 2001 SE - crashed at some point couldn't complete test.
3D Mark 03 - 20455.
3D Mark 05 - 8703.
3D Mark 06 - 8551.
3D Mark Advantage - couldn't get it to run.
3D Mark 11 - couldn't get it to run.
