Custom Firmware developer HABIB is back again with a new update to his 4.70 HABIB COBRA v7.10 (CEX) CFW with the release of v1.01. The developer has provided a few fixes that were causing issues with applications such as PS3 Manager API (PS3M_API) and webMAN MOD, plus a fix to firmware dectection in PS3M_API was also fixed with this latest version of COBRA CFW from Habib [break]ss[/break] Also checkout this custom Habib coldboot by pinky via this link in our forums.

Try:

1. move ISO.BIN.ENC to hdd0/game/PSU1000/USRDIR
2. enable PS2 Classics in XMB
3. Dont switch MMan mode...I never do that
4. launch the game via PS2 Placeholder with wired controller

 

same... PS3 shuts down.

 

delete every activation (.rap), ps2 game and the ps2 placeholder...reinstall CFW and "reset default settings" ...not "restore ps3" because it will format the int hdd....

Then start from beginning...

..it must solve all problem...

 

First if you are on latest Habib (4.70 HABIB Starbucks (Cobra v7.10) v1.02 - PSX Place if no then update) then "enabling/disabling" classic is not needed and can cause issues. This is done automatic now. Go to root dev_hdd and delete classic_ps2 for sure. About turning off console, this sounds like hardware issue, or corrupted flash for me. Maybe [MENTION=20]habib[/MENTION] can tell you more. Also cobra need to be enabled to make it work, is enabled by default. Just make sure that you don't disabled it.

What is you ps3 model anyway?

This step is not needed and don't change any thing, if this is rap file problem then he just get licence error.

klicensee is needed for .bin.enc decryption
do restore default setings, delete all the raps, try again
and it'd be better if you tell your ps3 model
