PS3 4.70 REBUG REX / D-REX + COBRA (v7.10)

UPDATE- ( REX Build has been released): Exciting news as the REBUG Team (evilsperm, cyberskunk, Joonie ,Habib & Abkarino) has released their latest CFW. 4.70 REBUG REX / D-REX + COBRA . In this version of REX (D-REX) there is an updated REBUG Toolbox (v02.02.04), Full COBRA v7.10 Features, Integrated webMAN MOD (v1.41.38 REBUG Edition) and also [break]..[/break]the usual REX Features such as full Cinavia Disabled, Fake Save Owner, Dual LV2 CEX/ DEX Kernel and all the REBUG Features you have loved from previous versions are present. I installed rebug and tried to install plugin for ccapi. It installed and when the ps3 was started it said ccapi could not be started. Psnpatch plugins would not install unless in rebug mode, I turned to rebug mode then psnpatch would freeze so i got around that by not using the plugin and doing it manually. I tried signing in and it would give me a error code so couldnt sign in. When I tried loading a game in managunz or irisman there would be a error when you go to mount, a black scrren would come up saying press ps3 button to see if firmware will restart if not your have to install firmware again, it was a weird screen never seen it before. fYi I tried everything, Switching in between cobra and normal, And switching between rebug and normal no success. I was on ps3ita dex so I used dex version of this. Oh and multiman mounted game fine, I didnt try the game cause I couldnt get online but I'm guessing mm works.

Hi,

Firstly, thanks to Rebug team for this work, CFW works fine for me.

I just tried to use the telnet server via the Toolbox, for all command I have answer "Error" from the server: Screenshot by Lightshot

Does someone have tried too?

1. CCAPI 2.60 rev3 release note says it supports FW up to 4.70 CEX
2. Please do not activate PSN Patch until you mount games, because PSN Patch disables COBRA completely..
3. PSN connectivity won't be activated until you activate PSN Patch

No problem thanks ill try that. I think I was trying to test going online before mounting :) I appreciate all your guys/girls hard work.

click on the 'REBUG 4.70.1 REX EDITION' text inside the little white box. (right above REBUG_TOOLBOX_02.02.04.pkg text)
you will get a zip with a text file inside the text there will be a link that ends with '.PUP'

rebug 4.70 data corrupt

I have downloaded the firmware twice and tried to install each separate downloaded firmware gets the same error "the data is corrupted. (80029cca)" does anyone have any ideas?

edit: i just tried to download habib 4.70 and it installs correctly.

Can you try recovery mode also?

I am afraid to if it is reporting it as "corrupted"
i am trying a third separate download. using the "http://scmods.com/*************************.PUP link from the text file.

The safest thing you should do now is check the 'MD5' after the update is copyed to your USB stick if it matches then try to recovery install it

Edit: or the above advice :)
