    • this also allows developers to execute their own payload at an address e.g you paste payload at 0x3d98 and then execute through sc15
    • example has been attached with new include file named "sc10_15.h"
    OTHER CHANGES COMPARED:

But it would definitely be helpful if you can successfully reproduce the freezing issue because this bug has been present since 1.45.00 and no one has reported except for me, I just want to know if your previous issue was caused by this, if you can confirm it will be very helpful for @aldostools to analyze the cause

I can anticipate you that my freezes started exactly when I have installed for the first time webMAN 1.45.00 . Before that release I did not have this problem if not a couple of times when webMAN could not handle to load the list of my almost 700 games . I quickly realized that was not possible and I decided to write my software to manage it giving webMAN only the function to load the games when I load them via HTTP requests to it .

700 games? talk about a lightweight. :-P I had around 1200 on the ps3 'til one hdd died. I have over 900 for the wii on a 1TB drive - talk about small. and, I have around 700+ for the 360. I placed all of my xbla games on a 2TB drive, and I have about 1.5 or 1.6TBs left. that's while I was collecting games which I make databases for every month. I formatted it to 2TBs to fatx (the xbox 360 file system) when that was released as per an update. my other 2TB drive has about 300-400 360 games and xbox original games. my 1TB internal drive houses more games as well as all of my xblig. my wii u has 250+ games on a 2TB drive. I could've fit them on a 1TB drive since u can only have 292 games unless u delete the main tiles like the wii channel or mii maker via redNAND. I think u can do this, but I haven't done that to my redNAND. I'm playing the virtual wii at this very moment. :D

So here we are @Joonie .

I would say I completed my tests and this Habib works very very well .

ps3-test.jpg

20 hours uptime
intensive game play: God of War III, GTA V. The Last of Us, Uncharted 3 and Gran Turismo 6.

PS3 Games Manager 0.42c constantly polling webMAN 1.45.04 ( one HTTP request every second ) during all the 20 hours.

I have experienced no freezes at all and definitely less overheating meaning the temperature of the CPU while on SYSCON settings it is lower than what it used to be .

For what it concerns my setup here I would say this is the most stable firmware I have ever used so far :)

I have both releases of this FW here and they don't match your MD5.

Ah, Just checked and it seems you haven't extracted it ;) , extract the PUP file and check that. (if it extracts you know its ok but you can check it to be sure)

Leave it alone.
It's for devs, not end users.

Don't worry about either of those things, both for devs really. Short version, The file is an example of a new feature of cobra that devs can now utilise, and the HASH update makes it easier to modify system files and then fix cobra.

Hey i need help :( Today i installed latest version of Habib CFW and i do not have sound in some games(((( I've noticed this problem when i made upgrade my CFW based on 4.7 version to 4.81 FERROX COBRA (7.3) CFW by Alexander v1.0. Then i found this firmware and installed it just over Ferrox one, but this didn't fix my issue. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks) and Happy New Year))))

This is odd .. before starting the game can you hear any sound ? Like when you are at the XMB and you move through the menus do you hear the "click" sound or nothing at all ?

On HDMI?
Have you tried resetting Audio & Video output?
When the console is on standby, press, and hold, the power button on the PS3 until you hear a 2nd beep.
Now reconfigure the AV.

If that doesn't work, you need to try with another AV output type.
Just get hold of another ps3 AV cable to connect your ps3, like YPbPr, scart or whatever then test.

Turn off the PS3.
Plug in the A/V multi-out composite or any other AV cable between the PS3 & TV.
Remove HDMI cable between the PS3 and the TV.
Turn the TV on and switch it over to the AV input where the PS3 is now plugged in.
Press, and hold, the power button on the PS3 until you hear a 2nd beep.
Reconfigure AV accordingly.

If the sound is ok with other output types than hdmi, HDMI is the issue.

Thanks a lot for these suggestions, but..... as i wrote I have no sound in some games only. I have sounds in XMB and in some games but not in all of them :( This is very very odd and i know it, but i do not have any idea how this even possible and how to fix it. PS3 connected to the TV by HDMI cable and i don't think that the problem in connection. All the games are on internal HDD.

You asked for suggestions & I gave you one to either identify the issue or remove it from the list of possible causes.

Hdmi can cause many strange problems & it's hard to tell if this is one of them. Obviously here certain sound files still get played while others don't but we have no idea why & if the problem is software or hardware based.

First, you should reset the AV settings & reconfigure properly.
If the issue remains, you need to find out for sure whether the sound is actually played by the ps3... The only way to do that is to change the output type.

But in any case, feel free to wait for better suggestions...

God Bless you man!!! Thanks so much!! I couldn't belive in that this might help but it helped!!!! i just reqonfigurated my HDMI and everything works!!! Thanks so much and happy new year!!!!

@skydemon

Lol...
We can be wrong with our suggestions from time to time but you can count on one thing, we generally try to get every problem sorted with few exceptions. Sometimes, rarely, it may require several people & even days of testing but we usually get there....
There are some very knowledgeable people contributing in this forum, developers, cfw makers, advanced users. Read what they post. You will learn a lot from them.

If I suggested hdmi straight away, it's because it was the most suspicious & relevant element in your issue. It was also the first element to remove from the list of possible causes if we had to look further/deeper into the issue.

Anyway you are welcome & we hope the festive season is being good to you.
