Devs are tired of answering this question.There is no ETA for the 4.83 exploit till now.

When 4.83 ofw was launched,At that time i was playing GTA V online on my CECH-4xxxx.The game was installed by pkg via han.I played approx 6-7 hours.No one banned me.

Does anybody know how to use the reload.self file from irisman 4.82.1 on the retro xmb creator so it can be used on Ferrox 4.83 cfw? It does the conversion but when launched, says unsupported firmware or syscalls disabled, then ps3 freezes.

which content are you trying to use and launch with RetroXMB creator?
 
Yes, for PS1. I don't like the original emulation, so I tried the retro xmb method which you can manage as you like. It works in 4.82 great, but I am curious how it would be ported in newer versions of firmware. Not necessary, just my curiosity of understanding how things work.

Which emulator were you using - ps1_emu.self?

The reload.self from irisman 4.83 would be needed for 4.83 CFW
 
I have CECH-2504B, and is currently running on Rogero 4.55, I did not find anything about going from Rogero CFW to Cobra CFW or similar CFW, so does anyone know is it possible and how? Also, I would like to play online.

I have never had any Rogero CFW, but isnt it just QA Flag and then you can freely move between CFWs.
As for online play, if you choose to update to 4.83 use latest SEN Enabler or PSNPatch.
If you choose to update to 4.82, like I am on cause Rebug 4.83 does not exist, you can still use PS3 Proxy Server to connect to PSN

EDIT: PS3 Proxy Server is only for HAN, you spoof to 4.83 on CFW ofc, I am stupid misses something as obvious as that

Thank you for fast reply, I am not so familiar with all the terminology as you so sorry for that, what should I do then, just try to put Cobra 4.83 on it? Or should first try to update to 4.82 and then put Cobra, as I am currently running on 4.76 FW?
 
Is there any tutorial how to update to 4.83 FERROX(w/ COBRA v7.55) by Alexander, as I have downloaded the file from mega and already formated the usb stick to fat32, what to do next?

I didnt know, I mean it makes sense but I didnt find any threads when people would use it on CFW. So I assumed that maybe theirs something blocking it from being used, like its designed just for HAN. It probably is but nothing blocks a CFW from using it.

I don't think many people really use it on CFW TBH, not when you can spoof your FW version with SEN or if your on REBUG in DEX use the same method I do.

It would add a bit of extra protection as this would block the URLs PSN use to determine FW version and stuff. I don't use it personally even though half the time when my PC is on so is one of my PS3's. Like atm I've got Oblivion running on the PS3 on one TV and the PC on the TV next to it.

If your on 4.76 CFW then yep, just update to whatever CFW you want to and you should be ok, to be able to go back and forth between FW version's on CFW you need to enable QA Flags.
