Yes spoofing is working fine on HEN.

There is no way to be 100% safe online with an exploited system, you can be maybe 95% safe by using PSNpatch.

How are you going to spoof on hen, don't you need sen enabler to spoof?
I read Sen enabler is not safe on Hen.

Person has HFW 4.85, just thinks they have 3.85
HEN doesn't go up to 3.85, and HFW started with 4.84

@Mochamad17 already posted in this thread (here) saying that he ended up having to reformat his PS3's HDD after trying to use SEN Enabler on HEN.

SEN Enabler and PSNpatch are not designed with HEN in mind; they are for CFW and so at the very least their effectiveness is questionable, and at worst can cause major issues when used with HEN. You are likely to do more harm than good, in other words.

As of today 31/03/2020,$ony sneakily released another update for the PlayStation3, version 4.86 is now live, apparently is for CFW and HEN patching "needs to be tested", it could be also the more recent announcement of the messaging system shutdown.

If you are a CFW or HEN user, do not update, until a new writer is tested, stick with 4.85, it seems that PSN access is not mandatory to update to 4.86, managed to log in on my main OFW Console with 4.85 without any restrictions, although this needs testing, since $ony just released the update 10 minutes ago, PSN access may be restricted to 4.85 within a couple of hours.

PlayStation Website still displays the 4.85 Available for download, as usually this is $ony's trickery with newest update, instead of 4.85 you'll get a 4.86 in disguise, be careful for the users who wish to reinstall they're Firmware.

How can I login on ps3 without doing the update? It's my first time that i have an update on CEX.

I made this account a second ago, I'm new to the scene and jailbroke my PS3 TWO days ago. I was trying to upload a ps2 iso to my ps3 and it connected fine. Played perfectly. I tried to upload another and it wouldn't connect to the PS3 anymore. Slight salt, within 1 hour of each upload this update was released and i thought it was a bug. Now im curious, how tf can i connect online? I have 0 experience.

first time posting here. im running superslim 4.85 HFW , i have read the hole thread till now and the previous one, i have a question. i have multiman installed , if i install webman-mod to spoof will there be any conflict?


EDIT: if i install the HFW 4.86 will i lose everything on hdd or will it be the same?

Im new to this , being using hen for around 6 mouths everything was fine until today with the new update

You won't lose any data, no, so it'll be the same. Also, there's no conflict between multiMAN and webMAN MOD; mM is a homebrew that you manually launch, whereas wMM is a plugin which runs in the background at boot, or when HEN is enabled. If you're on 4.85 with HEN, there's no reason to update to 4.86 yet since the tools have yet to be updated for it. There's no benefit to updating on the very first day of 4.86 being released.
