Yeah it should work on HEN and CFW.


@everyone: If there is some rushed out 4.86 CFW Do not jump on it on day one just to get online, there are nearly always issues with new CFW unless its Rebug :) Give it a few days or a week. There is no rush.

I'm still on Rebug 4.84.2 CEX. Do you think I should wait for 4.86 CEX or update to 4.85.1 LITE? What will I lose if I update to the latter and will I be able to access PSN? Maybe I should update to a non-Rebug 4.85 CFW. Which one is the "best" and why?

does that webman spoof work to safely play on psn (on a cracked game on multiplayer?) If there is a risk then I will just wait patiently for the HFW

There is no need to update, you will only lose features and gain nothing.

Updating to 4.85 will not let you go online.

If you are on 4.84.2 REX (NOT DREX) you can use this vsh.self to ignore all new updates in future. Just put it in dev_blind/vsh/module/.

Use at your own risk. Do not use this if your on different CFW or HFW.

hey guys, i dont mean to ask another dumb question but, I installed the 4.86 HEN and now there are not package folders, neither webman nor multiman work anymore, and when i go to sys info it stated 4.86. Did i goof everything up? Can i downgrade to 4.85? Thank you!

The HFW link should not have been posted yet. loads of people think its a new hack, its not. You will have to wait.

@Joonie maybe you should remove that link for now? It should be released with new xploits really.

So, if I put that file in dev_blind/vsh/module/ PSN won't ask me to update to 4.86, and if not, will I be able to access it? May I be banned when accessing it after doing PSN Patch's plugin's L3 + R3 + L2 button combo? What if I spoof to 4.85 on SEN Enabler instead of transferring that file?

From @DeViL303's Twitter post here, the method is placing ps3-updatelist.txt on the root of dev_hdd0 and webMAN MOD somehow interacts with the file and allows you to sign in to PSN while still on 4.85 with CFW or HEN. I don't know the specifics, and have yet to try it myself so I can't really say much else about it.

You will be able to sign in and play games like normal.

PSNpatch will still work in the same way as it normally does. There is no extra ban risk compared to spoofing 4.85 while on 4.84.

4.86 is the latest FW, spoofing to 4.85 will not allow you to go online or do anything extra compared to 4.84.

I really appreciate you responding. Should I do a fresh install of 4.86? or keep it how it is now on that "new hack"?

IMO Rebug 4.84 REX is the best CFW at this time.
 
so i put "ps3-updatelist.txt" where you told me but sitll it asks for the new update, when I try to sign on. I know is enable psnpatch also. Could you give some assistance?

Okay once the ps3-update.txt is in the root of hdd0 then doesn't the button combo of triangle and R2 disable even webman mod from working ?
