Because "It worked" or "It bricked my hardware" is not an answer that we need. I for example bricked my hardware with the code linked in my previous post. Even though it was tested at least 50 times with USB flash drives, always resulting in a good patch, it still froze on sys_storage_write() when tested on HEN with NOR flash. There just isn't a way to account for that before you actually try it. And once it happens, the only way to know what exactly failed is to dump the flash and look for clues. Therefore, this means that "intentionally" bricking someone's hardware with it gives us no feedback, unless they have access to a hardware flasher.
