PS VITA / PsTV Alphabetize games in Adrenaline?

Hey guys I got a minor problem. I have 100 or so PS1 games in Adrenaline, 30 or so PSP games. Sometimes it's annoying to have to scroll through the whole list to find the right game. Seems like the app organizes the games according to the date installed. I have Category Lite but it doesn't work for my purpose. I want the games organized alphabetically for a clean look.

You could try Adrenaline Bubble Manager.

This will "install" your games onto the vitas home screen. Then you could rearrange them alphabetically and you also have use of folders. Albeit only 10 bubbles per folder.

This is how I ended up doing things, just to get rid of the middle man of loading adrenaline and then the game I wanted to play. I used folders on home screen named A-C, D-E and some just 1 letter folders. It's a bit lame to set up, it took me quite some time.

If you do go this route, you could also try ONEmenu which is just another "loader" which I think (haven't used my pstv in a while) you can alphabetise games.

you could try psp content manager. use the pspemu folder as a base. then, just click on name and apply sort. you can even move the games or saves around to your liking as it doesn't have to be alphabetical. another option is hb sorter, which is a homebrew for the psp on the system. however, neither of these are compatible with category lite. the only one I can think that could use category lite is psp filer, but then you have to change the time stamps of modified date manually.

Space in LiveArea is limited and creating so many PSX bobbles is annoying as hell.

Totally agree.
I remember having to create bubbles in batches so it didn't fill the home screen. Then sort into folders, rinse and repeat.
Took forever.

Then, for some reason I can't remember, the home screen reset itself.... All that work gone.... I threw the PSTV across the room because of that. And there it lays since

Thanks for all suggestions everyone. I guess there are no simple ways of doing it. It's amazing that this feature is lacking on Sony systems.

psp content manager is very easy to use. you can alphabetize anything on the xmb with it. the only problem is that you can't be using categories lite or else it won't pick up the games. I'm using that on my psp, and it took a while to use psp filer. I don't use it on adrenaline due to bugs.

I have another idea. I don't know if it works with the psp but it does with the ds. try fat sorter (an app).

Another solution which comes to my mind, if pspemu is on MicroSDXC memory card, is data creation/modification on exFAT editing (on PC of course).

psp content manager just needs the general layout of the psp (I think it mentions this in the read me), so it works with the pstv as well. you just need to use pspemu as the base folder.

it works with category lite? I could never get it to detect my games.
I don't have my vita here so I can check my category lite settings, but I was able to sort all entries in each category without problem.

I'm using ISOs (or rather CSOs) btw. so maybe that makes a difference?

I don't use category lite on the vita. it's buggy if you test everything.

I must admid, that I haven't played the PSP games so far, but I have not stubled upon any bugs so far. I made sure not to to not use more than 128 games and/or more than 8 categories.

Can you tell me what these bugs are, as I'd really like to keep the categories ;)
