Issue:
After running "Load Patch via H-T-T-P", then "Apply Patch", the screen froze (the wave bars stopped as well).
I did hear the chimes which is typical when a task is completed, but the console was unresponsive after 15-20minutes.

After hard reboot (power switch off > on), Luckily the system still boots up.
If I dump another nand and run it through the pyps3checker, I see it changed from

******* Checking CoreOS_region *******
...
Version = 4.86 CEX/SEX OFW/HFW

to
******* Checking CoreOS_region *******
...
Version = 4.86 CEX Patched (Rebug based v2)

so I assume that the patch did work correctly.
I would like to know if its safe for me to try to apply the CFW at this point. Thanks for any input.

side note- the forums mention there is a "Load Patch via H-T-T-P-S" but I only see non-secure H-T-T-P
file

Since it boots still, just try to install cfw.

@bguerville

Not sure about the freeze though.

If cfw installs, then the patch worked. Otherwise it didn't apply.

Do you have any other pics of process?

You can try loading bgtoolset again and make a new dump, then verify patch or not with littlebalup tools.

What URL are you using?

Thanks all for the quick responses. I will try to apply the CFW tonight and come back if any other issues.
notes
- I was using ps3toolset.com as the website
- Unfortunately I did not record a video when it was frozen. basically the "wave" was not moving in the background, the controller was not responsive (mouse icon did not move) nor any of the buttons. I tried waiting for 15-20 minutes but it did not change. as mentioned, I did hear the "chime" which was the only reassuring factor that it perhaps did complete.
