Can't reclaim any disk space on HEN

I did some more testing. I deleted a few large games in a row and to my amazement, the space wasn't immediately freed. Instead I could watch the free space counter slowly climb from 384 GB free to 401 GB free over the course of ~1 minute. In that time I was browsing around /dev/hdd0 in MM's file manager. I also confirmed that XMB's idea of free space matches MM's now.

Still not sure if it's just the display that updates slowly or if it's the actual free space reported by the file system. But the trick works reliably and I'll never shut down the console again right after deleting something :)

... and there you are doing well !!! Think about what I wrote above, it is effective and safe. The old "FileZilla" works wonderfully on my old MacMini-C2D-2,53Ghz-8Go from 2009. It starts either under X.11.6, or under Win7-Ultimate-SP1, there it is faster and I send to 2.2MB/s to the PS3. It's amazing !!!

you can get even faster speeds if you connect your ps3 and computer together with an ethernet cable. I don't know if you have to bridge the connections. I've always had to for some reason or it wouldn't work. anyway, you probably don't have a gigabit ethernet port for a computer that old, so you'll get maybe 10MB/s . you can get about double or even triple that with a gigabit port. I've personally never owned a computer with one. my laptop doesn't even have it, and it's only about three years old (running windows 10), so I'm probably in the same boat as you.

I said something stupid above, it is at 22MB / s that I send the data to the PS3 via the FileZilla under the Win7-Ultimate-SP1 system.
I have a GigaBits Ethernet connection via a TrendNet switch. Sorry for this mistake ...

Merci @pinky.

are you using HDD or SSD?

what is the size of the drive?

did you use PS3 Unlock HDD Space? (or other method to adjust free space)

So i installed the unlock hdd pkg and after i start the pkg it showed that there's no more than 500mb space storage and then i tried to uninstall game data etc and it didn't work still shows that i have 0 storage is there any solution that can help me im using hen

Where You checking free space exactly?

Not sure if You can use that application on HEN. Low level access is needed to HDD. It is possible that LV1 will not allow that.
