CEX or DEX

I'll soon be preparing another slim for CFW, and thus I was thinking about converting it to DEX.

I've heard that you can use mods on a CEX console, but some say it's no good.

My question is: should I go for a DEX converted slim for modding games, or simply stay with CEX?

I'm not really sure, but rtm may only be possible on dex. you need to debug your values.

Since what I've read led me to the understanding that converting a CEX to DEX using Rebug is 99.99% safe, I guess I'll end up with one of each.

yes, rebug is pretty much fool proof. originally, you had to use an app called c2d in order to convert a cex dump to a dex one. it had some issues which may have caused some bricks. it's no longer necessary. though, I still make dumps with it. I dump the NAND, then use the app to make a dex dump. I back them both up. lol
