If you are on Official Sony firmware then you will have to wait a little longer, these patched "No-PSN" apps only work with custom firmware. The lads here (@bguerville @esc0rtd3w @w) should have a release in the next few months that will allow you to install CFW without a flasher, all going to plan.

Installing cfw only on CFW compatible consoles though.... metldr2 issue still not solved!
One will need to wait further for lv2 exploit (goal after Q1 2018), then one should be able to run nopsn apps, unless another door opens to us during development & we can manage it without lv2 exploitation..

Yes that does support 4.81 OFW, but an IDPS dumper does not allow patched pkgs to install and run. For those we need CFW or something like Henkaku for Vita.

Sorry if the reply came out weird. When I said "you don't mean..." I was referring to "the thing in the works" in my mind I thought that meant a possible cfw that you could possibly apply after 3.55ofw, but that's a ways off. "Thing in the works" could mean a whole slew of different things so that's why I replied "⚆ _ ⚆ phil, you don't mean..." as a joke. I then Asked if I should do the same in the future as far as formatting my ps3 when the links go down. The
 
Hi everyone, if there is anything I can help please tell me, I am an electronics technician in Brazil, I do not know anything about software but I have a lot of experience with ps3 board components and I have some consoles to work with and do tests .
 
What would be rewarding though is someone else trying to patch Plex...
esc0rtd3w posted detailed tutorials about patching for nopsn & made all needed files available...
Is no-one interested? Will nobody step up & try to learn some basic hacking skills? It is great stepping stone if you ask me...
