PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

I could really use some help. I have been trying to get MVP Baseball 07 (Ps2) on PS3 slim using Managunz, but I keep getting a "not compatible with this ps3 message"
My friend tried the PKG method and that didnt work either.
Does this game specifically have trouble?

A very cool discovery was found by kozarovv for multi-disc games. Now, it should be possible to swap discs ingame *without* resetting the emulator, so games like Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3 Xtreme Legends, which provide an option to swap discs without resetting the console for additional content, should be accessible! This is akin to opening the disc tray, swapping the game disc, and closing the disc tray on an actual PS2 system.

Each of these games would need a specialized config, and currently would need to be in pkg format. I am still needing to test multi-disc games thoroughly with netemu, so this may take a bit. Big find by kozarovv!

it also has the ability to use both red and black suits on the fly like web of shadows (albeit in this version you have to take it off at some point otherwise game over and the more you use it it's harder to take off)

Hello, how can I know what exactly each existing config in the aldoo repository does?
Because as I could see, there are several configs that change different things in the same game. For example, here in this thread I found three different configs that change different things for the game "burnout 3 takedown"

But there in the aldoo repository, I only find a single config and I don't know what correction it makes.

Just search the game's name on this thread and you will find the custom config and description of what was added to the database and what it fixes. If you have a question about a particular game you can't find, just ask here.

Burnout 3's config fixes slow motion bug, fixes memory card issue, disables bloom and fog, speeds up FMVs and additional frame rate improvement.

In the PS2 CONFIG database there is a "preview" check mark next to the title count.
It lets to view the code of the selected config before download it.

You can compare it with the code found in this thread (in case there are multiple posts for the same game).

Generally the database includes the config found in the most recent post, with very few exceptions.

And in cases where there is a config in the repository but there is no information about it in this topic. How to know what it is?

For example, there are configs for the game "LOTR The Third Age" in the repository, but I have no idea what it is because I didn't find any information in this thread.

Any config other than CUSTOM was created by $ony and not us, so some of those still may be unknown as to what they do. That specific softemu config (SOFT) for The Third Age does nothing as the config has no effect on netemu. The game runs the same with and without the config as the command used in that config is enabled for all games in the emulator.

The configs in the section GX or SOFT (like your example), are internal configs extracted from ps2_softemu.self or ps2_gxemu.self.

There is not detailed information about these configs, except the comments in the compatibility list in psdevwiki.

Same happens with the configs in the section NET. These configs are extracted from official PSN games.

hey guys lately ive been trying to run Fighting Fury (2003) on managunz and i seem to be running into the same problem that the game has on pcsx2. it says here in the wiki that EE needs to be enabled to get past the main loading screen. is there an easy option to toggle in the settings or will this require a config file? heres the link btw Fighting Fury - PCSX2 Wiki

Okay, that config will cost you. ;)

Jk. I will look into it now.

Updated config to fix additional black screens.

@Swordlend Still needs more testing, but level 2 loads fine now.
Long time not was on this topic and looks like this old "pain in ass" FiXed now for PS3! On PS4 it always works ok before!
Cool, thanks!
