Yes, most should work fine. The original value at the EE memory addresses would just be needed in order to port it to a 0x0A command.can the OPL Widescreen hacks be ported to config files?

Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Shou (SLPM-65688)
Fixes all HUD artifacting/graphical corruption due to incorrect alpha effects. This problem is the same as Alpine Racer 3 (same developer) to a lesser degree, but was harder to find with no debug symbols left in the game. This fix looks reminiscent of old PCSX2 versions:Code:3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 05 00 00 00 C8 E6 1E 00 09 F8 20 03 00 00 00 00 E8 E6 1E 00 09 F8 20 03 00 00 00 00 70 2F 1A 00 C0 FF BD 27 08 00 E0 03 74 2F 1A 00 38 00 01 3C 00 00 00 00 88 06 1F 00 09 F8 20 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

A couple of notes:
- Red colored circle in upper left corner displays as a square on top instead of inside (same as before)
- Teal colored meter in upper left corner will not display regardless of if you have it available or not (same as before).
- Button meters in upper right hand corner display as just green when recharging. This doesn't affect gameplay decisions as green = unusable anyways.
These issues are because the effects are disabled, but since the effects don't render properly anyways it is a better trade-off. It may be possible to get the effects rendered correctly but idk. This is the most solid fix that we can get.
Not sure, I never looked into that. Does changing Video Out options in XMB make any difference?@mrjaredbeta is there a way to change the colorspace on PS2? by looking at the debug information, it's set to 0
If you're on CFW, download WebMAN MOD and PS2 Config Database from here and install both packages. Make sure "Auto-CONFIG" is set in WebMAN Mod Scan for Content settings. Mount game, and config will be auto-applied to any game that requires a config.I know it's a noob question but...How do I apply this configuration to the game file? Is there any guide?
For a slim which one should i choose and what is the difference between them?...Use NET, GX, SOFT if there is not one found in CUSTOM...

In my case (ace combat the belkan war) the config file doesn't seem to work. Yet in the wiki compatibility list it is written that it works. I tried both letting webman download the config and downloading it manually.CUSTOM is the preferred config in the database. It usually includes additional fixes.
NET is the next preferred config in the database. They come from the original config found in PS2 Classic games.
GX and SOFT are the last option when there are not configs in CUSTOM or NET sections. They come from ps2_gxemu and ps2_softemu.
The codes in the database are the ones submitted by @Agrippa in this post:In my case (ace combat the belkan war) the config file doesn't seem to work. Yet in the wiki compatibility list it is written that it works. I tried both letting webman download the config and downloading it manually.

@mrjaredbeta , @Agrippa , @kozarovv : Any new development concerning the PS2 Config File for Driv3r now in almost 2024 ? ...heee (finger crossing...) ???It is a little unclear what works and what doesn't, but current testing shows that any config will cause game to crash after any battle in Chapter 5 due to game protection being triggered. I think it is unplayable as of now with any config. As of now, @AuroNPL's testing with current NTSC-U config and gxemu config/GameFAQs "non-edited/cheated" save both caused game to lock up after battle in Chapter 5.
It is not possible. Game requires too specific/accurate math that makes any configuration cause police AI to crash in the second mission. I did manage to get past that mission (at least the driving part) with a set of accurate commands, but it proved a bit more tedious/extremely slow than I would say is "playable." For now (and probably forever), unplayable.
Im not super deep into what it take to make this happen.Since it's not even playable in PCSX2 i doubt it.
No, as it's not an encryption problem. It has to do with CPU emulation accuracy.Im not super deep into what it take to make this happen.
could this news could bring a light of hope doing it for this particular game ?
