PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

So ive tested Burnout 2 - Point Of Impact (PAL - SLES-51044), and both the Net_Emu and GX_Emu, show the same symptoms on both PlayStation3 both CECHC04 and CECH-2104A, both running Rebug 4.82.2 CEX, no config files were used on both Net_Emu and GX_Emu.

Ive seen people running the same game, on a CECHE01, and dont display these issues, so i suspect its a region issue more than a game related issue :)

Config is not dedicated to SLUS release, is clearly stated in wiki that config is for sles releases. Pm me SLUS_204.97 file, i will port it to slus version.

Afaik this issue is not region related. Maybe they played on CECH A/B?

Its quite strange mate, ill just leave this here! He its using a 80GB and a NTSC-U copy, presuming a CECHE01, since it has some previous videos, running Ratchet & Clank with the same slowdown issue as a C04 PS3, which its not present on the A/B01, so yes, the issue seems to be region related :)

He is playing on CECH A/B. Like you can see issue exist on SLUS version of game. And config from GXemu don't have fix for that. Also emulator is not "regionalized". So only explanation is that he is using full BC ps3.

Hmmmmmm.... Yes that was my thought, but it wouldn't make sense, if he uploaded the Ratchet & Clank on a 80Gb,and preforms like a 60Gb C04 with slowdowns, i not trying to be ignorant or naive, but dont you find it odd? [emoji848]

But who cares anyway, like i play the game anyway, but its good for research purposes [emoji23]

I believe Maori-Jigglypuff posted the cheat for the US version on page 342 post number 3.417 on pcsx2's forums under the "Post your PCSX2 cheats-patches here!" thread. I haven't tested it since I'm away from my main computer at the moment. Sorry, still can't post links yet.
 
Yes, i missed it. Ok i will port it to config tomorrow, since im going sleep now. Thanks for pointing it. Looking at his other patches, he got nice skills. :)

Hey guys, I've been wanting to play Star Ocean Till the End of Time but it comes in two discs. How do I make a pkg out of a 2 disc game? Thank you very much.
 
I read on the compatibility list that PaRappa the Rapper 2 Now works with ManaGunZ config. The problem is I added the game in dev_hdd0/PS2ISO but I can't make ManaGunz see the game. Multiman can see it but ManaGunz can't. Can someone give me a link to the cfgs so I can add it manually?
 
I wonder whoever updated that Parappa the Rapper 2 worked with cfg if they actually played it or just saw that it booted and said it was working. The cfg made it boot but during the first cutscene you can hear it while it freezes then it hard froze my PS3.
 
I transferred a .psu save from PS2 using mymc of Valkyrie Profile 2 and used ManaGunz to load a cfg. It starts up fine and I can play until I get into the next fight and it freezes. I tried soft and GX it does the same thing at the exact same place. Someone a few pages back said they played it over 20 hours with no freezes, could it be the save?
 
Tested "Tenchu:Wrath of Heaven" ntsc version extensively on a non bc compatible ps3 slim. Rikimaru's missions are playable, if you use a 100% save. Certain cutscenes during gameplay can freeze randomly, most of the time they don't, from what I experienced. The "heavy slowdowns" can be smoothed out, if you set vsync delay to - no ipu aggressive. Played through the first 3 missions from Rikimaru's campaign more or less without any problems. The cutscenes that play when you unlock a new skill have a very high chance of freezing the game.

Multiplayer plays perfectly on the first two maps - Village and Battleground - Versus mode. "Castle" and the very last map can freeze randomly at any point both on co-op mode and versus and I can point to the reason - the game hangs and game geometry is stripped off of textures, sometimes texture spikes appear and the game freezes. Im not even sure it is a freeze or an extremely slowed down version of the game. Screen switches between something like a textureless geometry mode and a normal one and player input has no effect. You can still quit the game safely from the home button. Tried using the Tony Hawk config and it didn't resolve the issue.

Does anyone know of a config file that could potentially help with the problems in the multiplayer mode? Been itching to play some tenchu co-op with a friend.

Just google and install ManaGunz, load the game from it and it'll ask if you want a config (if there is one), just hit x and it'll load the config and you'll have it from then on. But if it doesn't ask if you want one then one doesn't exist.

Nice to know that, there's no info about it at ManaGunz thread.
