Did you notice any changes with/without config? It seems to be related to SIO2, so memory card, and/or controller itself. Both configs are kinda flexibe from 0 to 3 since emu AND to compare bits for 0-3 in different functions. But all traces provide to controller ot memcard things.

I have not played this game. There was no report about this game, so the issue may be rare or hard to spot.

PaRappa the Rapper 2 (SCES-50408)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0B 00 00 00 01 00 00 00

14 80 00 0A 15 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Sony failed with this game twice. First they used only a 0x15 command, but with an absurdly high value (14) in the softemu. Second, they used a NTSC config for the PAL game in the gxemu. Unfortunately, there is a difference between the two. @Vini, you can try this config, it should work.

Thanks it works perfectly for me I thought that it could not be fixed since yesterday the Ps2 Compatibility List page marked that the pal version was unplayable but I already saw that it was updated anyway thanks

@aldostools, please rename the SLKA-15021 config. It is named incorrectly as a Quidditch World Cup, but it is a config for the Growlanser III: The Dual Darkness in fact.

Great work! I will test on netemu when I'm back home. :)

Tested and working great on netemu! I am unsure of what the hooks and 0x0B patch Sony implemented actually does as I didn't notice any issues without it (I was thinking it could be FMV related as PCSX2 struggles with it, but no), but its always good to keep it implemented in the CUSTOM config. The hooks seem to be changing/checking/editing some quadword stored to the stack.

@mrjaredbeta, thanks for the testing! The patch and hooks may be related to some timing functions (mfc0 count instruction in both functions is present). Didn't looked too much into it, and if I had, I would never understand it properly anyway.

Official config dumped from the package. It should fix the shadows. Maybe even something else?

I don't believe shadows have a problem on NTSC-J version (without config), so it must be a fix for something else. ;)

Also, the Goblet of Fire config works great on NTSC-U version (tested on PCSX2). SLUS-21325 should be added to the database.

Disables the generation of mipmaps. May work with the NTSC version.
