PS3HEN Console crashes when trying to install hen

I tried to install hen v2 from its website (ps3xploits.com) on hfw 4.85 from first choice . I initialized the installer correctly. But when I hit install the console freezes although I did everything. Advised. The second choice alternate seems to never initialize after many attempts. Pls help me!

Take a look at this thread for some tips on how to avoid console freezes. Sometimes just disabling the 'confirm browser close' option in the PS3s internet browser can solve freezing. I don't have any first-hand experience with HEN, but that thread has been known to help a lot of people with HEN freezing. Hope it helps. :)

Although i did exactly what **ps3xploit.com >Domain no Longer owned by team** (ps3xploit.me =new) advised , I will take a look .Thanks
 
Use the alternate install, click on "Enable HAN ReWrite Flash" in the 4.85 menu, then "HEN Installer (alternate)" and follow the instructions, had the same problem and that solved it, if that doesn't work install HAN and use it to install the HEN pkg given in the same site.
 
I running HFW 4.85 and the update was released, all my online activity was paused so i wanted the update to continue watching YouTube
Downloades hen for 4.86 thinking that was the update . Now wen enabling hen it freezes everytime

i think the installer also does what enable flash does before it installs but i may be wrong.

install 4.86 HFW (not ofw) then reinstall hen for 4.86.
