PS3 Deank updates the official version of webMAN to v1.33

A new official update for webMAN has been released by developer deank. webMAN v1.33 contains a fix JB (aka folder format) games like "Shadow of Mordor" That have been known to cause issues. This game can now be ran Internal / External and in both ISO or Folder Formats. Also in Cobra CFW deank has made a change where /app_home will not be redirected to /dev_bdvd.[break]ddd[/break] All versions of the Official webMAN (aka Vanilla version) plugin for the PlayStation 3 can be found below:

Note: Plugins can only be launched via Cobra CFW or on nonCobra CFW using PRX Loader

Changes:

• Fixes issues with games like "Shadow of Mordor" - it can be launched in JB/folder format from internal/external now
• Probably will fix issues with other JB/folder-format games
• Fix is for all standard CFWs and for cobra CFWs (4.46-4.66)
• /app_home is intentionally not redirected to /dev_bdvd on cobra CFWs

Yea mention system have been in place since day 1 ..

Its doesnt show what has been read or what has not been read. Its shows what is new since your last visit or reload.


Also in the future if you spot an issue or have a question about a site feature use the Site issues forum. Instead of a release thread. Just keeps things more tidy and organized.

no bro im on 4.65 cobra i always used multiman since 3.55 and what files i need to replace?can i use xmb mod manager to update it?

If its Rebug you need to place it in dev_blind/vsh/module but I suggest using webMAN MOD 1.33.02 updater. It will do the process for you and has Rebug/Cobra features that webMAN official doesn't.

Its just as easy to use webMAN mod for any cobra it auto detects and installs the correct variant. It allows you to disable Cobra which deanks does not for for problematic games. I still suggest that as aldos incorporates all of his work into webMAN mod and more. Installs are easy as well I can't stress that enough

yes...they're just plugins. they shouldn't ever cause anything besides a freeze or a game not to run when you use them. most of these programs are used by the masses, so they're generally regarded as safe.

Yes I went from official to mod with no problems. It is essentially still the standard variant just with extras ;-)
