PS3 Easy way to install packages over 4GB via webserver on PC

Ah, I think your issue is the package name, you cant have any ' or space in a link.

Assassin's Creed.pkg NO GOOD
Assassins_Creed.pkg GOOD

That's strange.... I know you can't install Retail pkg when Debug mode is on....but stalling when Hen Enabled is OK.....but let me tell you It might be a case of corrupt PKG.....

I Downloaded Infamous Festival of Blood EU version and used almost every trick but always get a error during installation...Luckly the file size was only 3GiG so i downloaded US version and whoila...that's worked like charm

The pkg name just needs to match xml, and it seems it does not like spaces or symbols in link.. I did not know as normally ps3 will replace spaces and symbols with URL encoded versions like %20 if its an image link for example, but anyway

NO SPACES in pkg names guys

NO SPACES in pkg names guys. or if you do have a space , you need to put in %20 in link instead of it.

I renamed it to just largepackage.pkg and also in the xml link file.I'm connected with wifi but speed is good.When i go into "install via webserver" its a blank bubble icon.I click it and it says you have to download software for this and when i click it it gives me error http 400.But the pkg should appear instead of that icon only.I waited for about five minutes but still no luck.I have US retail version of AC 2007.It is 7.62 GB.

It must be EXACTLY like this "Large_Package.pkg" if that is what it says in xml "largepackage.pkg " will NOT do unless you added that to xml too.
 
Guys i noticed an a weird bug/issue,when it's downloading for like 10-20 mins, it seems like it just stops,the PS3 and PC harddrive both stop spinning. But don't cancel it. The minutes remaining will just skyrocket to like 10000 in my case. But after a min or 2, the PC and PS3 hard drive both start working again and the download continues. Just a tip :D

I tried it both ways with largepackage.pkg and Large_Package.pkg too and yea i did change name in xml as well.For some reason it just won't show.
 
Hey guys, i can get the PKG to start downloading but after a while it stops downloading and gives error 80023324. It does that after the file reaches like 7%, anyone know what the problem could be? (btw, the file is 7gb)
 
Hey, i need some help. After I installed the game(it all went fine) i tryed to run it, then it starts swiching rezolutions from 1080p to 720p(that took kinda long) and then my controller turned off,got a black screen and some distorted boxes in the upper left part of sreen. Then it swiches back to 1080p,exits the game and gives me error code: 80028f17 Any help whould have been apreciated as I have been trying to get this game to work for over 2 days now. Thanks in advance!

Please make a thread, this thread has nothing to do with game resolutions or getting games working.

try with another small pkg, if that works then you are in the wrong thread.
