PS3 EBOOT decrypt question

Which tool are you using to decrypt eboot.bin to be able to add cheats and then encrypt it again?

scetool, trueancestor self resigner, e/s/s/s/e resigner, make_self/unself, whatever you can find.

Yeah alot of tools can do this. There was an app I can't recall that would decrypt the eboot, apply the patches then encrypt back to either 3.55 (HEN) & 4.21 (CFW) keys for use. I'll see if I can find it but the site where is originated from is no longer online. If you happen to find it before me please share. There also used to be a site that had prepatched eboots as well. So many people have moved on from PS3 and so many great things have been lost over time I'm afraid.

I think the fast rebuild option is exactly that. I'm thinking true ancestor.

I had tutorials for using TrueAncestor and E/S/S/S/E Resigner in there along with scetool. I recommend ESSSE Resigner because that does more than TrueAncestor, but you'll need to intercept files because it resigns them with no option to just decrypt them and then encrypt them later.
