Althought the 2124 can be related to the HDMI encoder and 2022 with the MultiAV chip, I guess in this ocassion the 1002 is more like to indicate the fault here: the NEC Tokins on the VDD of the RSX - the reason for my "guess diagnostic" is the lag you mentioned above.
Although blindingly changing the NEC Tokins is not a recomendation or a "cure for all evil on the PS3 world"; due the age of these consoles, I personaly change all of them with good Panasonic ones - Panasonic is just a preference here, any good manufactor and reputable seller should do as far the capacitance and ESR are par to the original NEC Tonkins (avoid cheap Aliexpress/Ebay capacitors if you intend to buy them).
