He meant that audio that is outputted is 2ch as in voice chat so can it be upscaled to 5.1??

make sure hen is enabled. sound will come from tv untill you start a game. set input to none to mute the mic.

I was exited for this so long but for me it didn't work.I'm using a usb soundcard since my headset not working via bluetooth.I followed as you said since I'm using hen 3.0.1 latest version any help please ?? also there is no icon of that pkg I'm already activated hen.

I have CFW 4.86 and like Msh3l mentioned only uninstaller is avilable for me too.

there are two pkgs...one for cfw and one for hen. make sure you got the right one.

i would have to look at the pkg to sure but i assume the cfw version installs the modded file and an uninstaller.

the modded file installs to dev_blind so if you disabled that in webman it wouldnt install properly.

have you paired your bluetooth (or plugged in the usb if using that) already?

No the installer automatically mount dev_flash to dev_blind so that folder have write permission so when user click on installer it will start copying the files to /dev_blind/

i installed this and had a look at it but i cant test because i dont have bt or usb hardware. it looks to me like where it says "uninstaller" it really means "installer". just press twice to install when the app starts. to uninstall goto backups.

@Louay FYI shouldn't it say "installer" where it now says "uninstaller"?

I did install the "uninstaller" and I have no sound in games with a usb headset. The headset works on pc and is seen by the ps3. The only thing that does not add up is the pkg where as shown on the first page it should contain both an installer and an uninstaller. Donno, maybe we should wait on @Louay's reply as he mentioned he will retest for CFW 4.86.

Hi, I'm on CFW (Rebug 4.86) and didn't manage to use the pkg for CFW.
It runs OK, but I get only "Uninstall" in the menu (4.86 ???).

If that can help anyone, I finally got it working using Zer0xFF method.
It works on:

• BT speakers (bad sound)
  
• headphones on DS4 plugged on USB (much better).

Thanks @Louay for the pkg though, it looked way easier to use

this wont work on ps2 games because the ps3 reboots into special mode to play them. (just like we can set the fan before ps2 games boot but not during ps2 game)
