Hi, a few months ago (or longer, I don't know anymore) I installed the exploit and HEN using a video instructions on YouTube, and after that, it worked fine for a few months, till now. If I try to login to PSN it says that the software has to be upgraded and if I try to upgrade the software it says: stay on this version till there is a new exploit (or something like that), before this, it just worked fine.

You need to install the HFW 4.87 pup file from usb. Then install HEN again. MrMario has some good youtube videos if need one.

here's a direct link on brewology. multiman isn't in the main list there but in a sidemenu link. if you are using hen, get the one that says hen. all others cause problems with usb devices using ntfs.

i want to know that why is it that ps3 slim >2xxxx and all ps3 super slim models cant install cfw, also pls dont tell the that cause they have 3.56 or lower min OFW, tell the real reason, what is it to do with min OFW ?

because they have metldr 2. metldr 1's key is known. we don't know the key for metldr 2, because sony fixed their mistake.

any ps3 can run HEN (even without installing and no internet) and then use a homebrew app to dump the flash. no homebrew app has been created to write flash but it is possible AFAIK.

I no longer maintain those tutorials or most of my tutorials, because there are easier way to do the same things. plus, aside from the template files, which I don't want anyone to have anymore, because they're for a site I hate, the normal files like simply zip, rco mage, etc.can be googled for. I probably won't write another tutorial anywhere, because they always become obsolete, so it's pointless.

CFW can only be used on some models. what is your model number? CECH-????

if you want to play online or reactivate games, you will need a new IDPS to unban. you can change IDPS on HEN or CFW.

Joonie was the one making the last few releases AFAIK. he said he was not making any more PS3 CFWs. he works on PS4 and Switch stuff also, so i assume he is just moving on from PS3.

It's a shame, can you go back down from version to 4.86 to hack it with rebug lite? personally it is the best cfw I have installed because it allowed me to install any pkg
