PS3 HAN HAN TOOLBOX DEX

holla guys,, I got prob with DEX (DECH-3006A).. already go through (succeed) with HAN installer and HAN enabler as well.

yet... I still can't install HAN TOOLBOX.. try both 0.3 and 0.4.
it give me an error 80039567.

What should I do guys.... Pls help me.

Any DEX expertise here? expected only master with original DEX system can give the solution...

I don't think you need HAN with real DEX.

I don't know why you are getting that error, I thought maybe you have an issue with your xmls.

You can try unpack toolbox pkg, and pack it again without resigning, install it as Debug pkg. (which should install without any hacks on your console)

So sorry, I'm not so clear with ur request. for this DEX, all the games that work on my HAN CEX, gave me an error on this DEX. (absolutely I dump and using its own idps).

Therefore, I'm trying to install HAN TOOLBOX,, hope that I can try playing games from demo downloader...

Try install the one above. I do not know if the HAN hacks are set up for real DEX 4.81.

BTW you should not run HAN installer on that console, as you already have DEX files. The only file you need to add is the category_game_tool2.xml afaik.

Ok, so that pkg has installed.

Now it wont be showing as your console will not read from the category_game.xml, it reads from the category_game_tool2.xml due to being DEX. So you will need to use this attached xml.

The problem you might have is that I am not sure if the xml injector will work in DEX, so you will have to try it, I think it might freeze as it only supports CEX, but Im not sure. You could use the Debug settings installer to install it too as that supports DEX.

Try this

If it does not work try this:
** http://www.**ps3xploit.com >Doma...tings_installer/debug_settings_installer.html

If that does not work with just the xml on usb, then try with all these files on USB, use the ones from the debug_settings_installer_release-PS3Xploit\install\481-COPY-TO-USB folder.

Great! after change to category_game_tool2 and flash it, HAN TOOLBOX automatically there after reboot. Thx mentor!

btw, guess it only solve this thread issue. after that, I encounter HAN enabler was freeze during enable it. try couple of time already from web and still the same...

I acknowledged about this issue couple of days before from other user. I guess maybe need to wait some more time....

Yes, HAN enabler in the Toolbox is only for CEX FW. New Toolbox which is on the way will support DEX.

You need to visit a different link for DEX

With Xploit 3.0? no, Xploit 3.0 is released, and it does what it does, nothing more.

If you mean on PS3 superslim etc, That is a bit like asking will you ever be able to run Homebrew on PS5. How could anyone answer that?
 
Why the PS4 is the new generation console and homebrew wheel and the 3xxx and super slim ps3 which is of the old generation does not wheel.

I suppose because anyone who wanted a hacked PS3 just got a hackable one, there was no need to hack 3k or superslim. why bother when you can get fully hacked console on CFW cheap, there is no extra features on 3k or superslim, so no reason to spend lots of time hacking it.

No, they changed something in the hardware, and we don't have the private keys now, the only reason we got the old keys is because sony made a mistake in older consoles.

We can extract the flash and patch it etc, but it wont run as signing will fail checks or something like that.

try those link couple of time.. also get frozen. acknowledge it need some sort of template modification in order to run smoothly.

Its meant to be fixed for DEX, but I do not know if it supports proper DEX, maybe only hybrid.

@esc0rtd3w would know.

If we had all the keys yes, it would be hacked, but no way to get them, only Sony has them.
