How do you delete multiman external install data?

I converted all of my folder games to ISO and just need to clear the external install data that some games require when using folder.

if you mean the internal cache for split games, there's an option to delete it in multiman. I think it's in the settings tier somewhere, but it's been years since I've used multiman. all split games, the files, they're put on the internal hdd in a cache. I've never actually looked for the cache, since you can delete it from within multiman. I think it does all games at the same time, don't think there's a way to do just one or two games.

If you mean the installed game data, there is no need to delete it. ISOs will use the same gamedata as folder rips. It's based on the title ID so unless you changed the title ID when converting to ISO they will load the same gamedata from dev_hdd0/game/XXXXXXXXX/

If I recall correctly, multiMAN stores the "external data" in usb0/GAMEI

If the flag is unchecked for the game, the game installation, dlc and updates are stored in hdd0/game/**** as @DeViL303 commented.

Oh so it's still necessary to use them even with ISOs? I was told otherwise.

if you mean game data installs, then, yes. I tested star ocean 4 a while back, which is an iso, and it still installed game data. I don't think there's any way around it.

edit: mind you, my star ocean 4 is on the internal hdd as well, the iso that is. all of my games are on the internal hdd.
