How to install a game fix without overwriting the game update

Hi everybody, I´m new to the PS3 jailbreaking and god, I´m really having a bad time with a game

Basically I´m trying to play NFS Most Wanted with HAN, but no matter what I do the ISO version always crashes and ends up in a black screen when booting up, and the PSN version of the game crashes when the game is loading the intro cinematic, so I found a fix online, but when I install it the fix overwrites the update and then I no longer can boot up the game, so how can I merge the two pkgs so when I install the fix it doesnt delete the update and viceversa (For some reason the game refuses to boot without the update and I get error 80010017)

you may need to rerip the game. a game fix ends up wrecking the game since every subsequent update would need to be fixed. what you're talking about sounds like piracy though which is against the rules. a psn game downloaded from the psn store won't need a fix, and it should work 100% even without han.

I think he's talking about BD backup, maybe it needs a file structure hack like the assassin's Creed ones?
