Yes it should be safe to reboot.

However you omitted to install ofw 4.82 twice before patching as instructed. That was a mistake that may lead to some problems installing CFW. If so, you will have to install ofw 4.82, reinstall the patch & recheck a Flash Memory dump all over again.

I already was on 4.82 when I started this, is that really necessary? Well, where can I get the 4.82 ofw?

Of course it was necessary otherwise we would not have added it to the instructions!!

To be sure not to get any problems during cfw installation, ofw 4.82 should be installed twice before patching.

This is the same as using a blank homepage & adding the exploit pages as bookmarks as per our instructions, it has nothing to do with us wanting everyone to have our exploit pages in favourites, we couldn't care less. It is because it's important to the smooth running of the exploits.

Try installing a CFW first. It might install OK. If it doesn't then you will have to reinstall ofw 4.82.

I see, you have a point. Last thing, can you provide me of a 4.82 ofw? I really don't want to download and install a 4.83 ofw on accidend, I would be screwed. Thanks for everything.

The downloaded jpg file can be reused until midnight. Once you are done with patching the Flash memory the file is no longer required & can be safely deleted.

Using a modified console (hardware or software) is a breach of PSN terms of services which means that if Sony & any game server detects a modification, your console id & the PSN account being used at the time the mod was detected will get banned.
In practice, bans are very rare if you don't use game mods or cheats online but they can happen.
It's recommended to use something like PSNPatch plugin before going online & be cautious when using the handful of games known to be risky.
But all this is another topic. Read the various threads about psnpatch, all the info you need is there.
