PS3 I'm on 4.84, is my system still JB-able?

I have a FAT PS3, it was never jailbroken before. Yes, I missed the chance to do it at 4.82. Can I still jailbreak my system and install CFW right now?

Install HFW 4.84.2

Dump NOR/NAND

Patch dump.hex

Verify dump.hex

Flash back

Install CFW.

I thought the HFW is used and only used if you've previously jailbreak using the 4.82 method.
