PS3 *Install All Packages* ( the order of witch manager will install first)

Yes , did u download that tool and confirm it work ?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I download them but my hdd is currently installing right now with pre-sorted pkg when installation complete i will copy small pkg sorted by size and re-sort them with one of those program and see hope it works

Confirmed this program will sort pkg by Alphabet so no need to make many steps just :
  • Copy your pkgs that you want to install with a random order/sort (by size,by name,by creation date,by modification date...etc)
  • Paste the to the FAT32 USB drive
  • Open FAT Sorter (it works on our FAT32 drives also so don't let the name blocks you :))
  • Click on browse then select your drive and click OK
  • Then click on Sort button ,progress bar will be full green and it will say sorting complete
  • Put your Externel HDD or USB Drive in PS3 use Install All Packages it will install by alphabet

Video :

When user install Update before Game pkg he will face error :
The update cannot be completed.
Target software for the update is not installed.

Cause when user copy update pkg before game pkg Install All function will install update before the game pkg and the update have higher version as we know so when the update is already installed the installation can't start cause game pkg have version lower than the update so with this program come to serve sorting the pkgs and Install All Packages will install game pkgs first then the update so there will be no interuption in installation

Good find that program :encouragement:
Is this one, right ?, with the option 5 to "short the FAT table"
https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/95721/FAT-32-Sorter

Edit:
Just found another 2 apps, but im not sure if does what we need
http://www.anerty.net/software/file/DriveSort/
http://www.luisrios.eti.br/public/en_us/projects/yafs/

I was thinking maybe there is something better (more brainless) to simplify the process to the max, something like:
1) copy all pkg's to usb
2) copy sort.exe to usb
3) double click sort.exe

@sandungas @Md Hesam Take this as you want a simple cmd that will do all by itself when double click even users can create autorun.inf and launch the sort.exe when USB is Plugged so he plug and unplug and the exe do all by itself

Put the program in root of USB along with all PKG and double click a cmd will open then exit ,test it and report back please :)

Confirmed , i test my cmd sorter to make PKG Install by Alphabet when i use Install All Packages so there is no need to rename pkg like 000_xxxx , 001_xxxx,00X,xxxx ...etc just named your pkg as pkg name and ps3 will install by name like its organized when in windows explorer :) , run cmd first to show the program cause when you double click it will do the work and exit as you see 0,02 seconds lol :love heart:

Video is coming simple way to sort pkg make Install All Package function a perfect one

wow, man. you figured out the pkg install order? I didn't read every message, but is it alphabetically sorted or is that the order that your app sorts them in? I always thought it was creation date, since that's listed in the metadata.

I made that program to sort pkg by alphabet so when ps3 read that alphabet order in file system table it will install all packages by alphabet from a to z same order that exist in file system table :)
