Hi guys its possible a mod menu of call of duty black ops 2 in han?
Are u sure about thatNo,it's impossible to mod your eboot on ofw.
Are u sure about that
Lmao is that a legit question? I have trust issues with the HAN Community now cause i feel like there are people who have modded there eboot with han and are just sitting back and enjoying it while everyone is in the dust not knowing about it... Like PS3Xploit, as u have noticed they havent released anything for han in a while, i think they found a way to make custom eboots work and just isnt sharing it cause it will destroy alot of games...Are u sure about that
Modded eboots also need firmware that can run unsighned code to boot it.Lmao is that a legit question? Im just saying, but my friend has a modded bo2 name and can enable aimbot for custom game and no recoil hes working on getting more stuffLmao is that a legit question? Idk about the eboot but my friend got something and hes on hanYes, at the moment via HAN or on just plain OFW it is 100% impossible to mod the eboot.bin unfortunately.![]()
Exaclty, like i said, i think the developers of han are hiding something...Idk about the eboot but my friend got something and hes on han
The what my friends say, i found some wierd stuff in files they madeExaclty, like i said, i think the developers of han are hiding something...
Conspiranoics :P
The rule is HAN is not able to run "unnofficially" signed code, and this applyes to all "executable" files
The executable files are basically .self .sprx and EBOOT.BIN (because EBOOT.BIN is a .self with the file extension renamed)
Also, EDAT and DAT as far i remember
If the game allows to be modifyed by other means (without need to modify the files i mentioned)... then yes it should work on HAN
Everything depends of how is built the game... there are some games that loads data from files that are not procected and are not executables
So by modifying that files the PS3 firmware doesnt even cares, becase are valid anyway, doesnt needs to pass any security check, and are not even executables
EDAT and DAT files can be modified, I use modified EDATs for my Skyrim work on HAN. As far as I am aware they don't have any checks.
I also recently learned Black Ops 2 uses FastFile archives, but apparently the reason no one directly modified the FastFile archives to run mods is because before going online the game will check the FastFile to make sure it's not modified, but I guess offline mods could work through modding FastFile. Not to mention the EBOOT.BIN of Black Ops 2 has good CFW/mod checks so trying any mods on HAN seems like an instaban. Although I do hope someone finds a way to do offline mods on Black Ops 2 via HAN.![]()
Man backup mods have been around for like 3/4 years. Hans method of modding is just a faster and easier way of backup modding, if there was a way to offline mod bo2 there would already be a way.
Most hacks I've seen are infection videos that give you max rank and all kinds of shit.Oh yeah for sure, I am sure some form of it exists. I haven't seen any good offline Black Ops 2 mods unfortunately nothing that compares to the online ones at least. I am sure someone will eventually make something on par with the online mods and I think that would be cool for offline mode.![]()
I need help, i downloaded mw2 on my ps3 with han and when i install a pkg mod menu and go in game no menus show up no modded color, idk if k did something wrong but the first i time i installed mw2 the menus worked but i deleted it and install it agian and this happend, AND when i look at the info for the game it says its on 1.00 but it nerver tells me to update
I have been wondering the same thing, at the moment with how modding on CFW works I don't think so, but I am waiting for someone to surprise me.
Call of Duty modding has always had an interesting modding community. Some of the older Call of Duty games could be modded without eboot modifications like World at War, MW2, MW3, Black Ops 1, etc. The current CFW mods for Black Ops 2 unfortunately rely on eboot.bin modification mainly to load .sprx mod files. The other method is injecting mods in .gsc format through a tool called GSC Studios which required CCAPI which is also unfortunately impossible on HAN. There is also a .sprx .gsc menu injector, but like I said before to load .sprx we need to make a eboot.bin modification, but making this eboot.bin modification will make the game not work (since a custom eboot.bin cannot load. Other forms of modifications involve modifying the .self files, but I think this falls under the same as eboot.bin and won't work on HAN.
Don't get me wrong though, it's 100% possible to unpack/repack the FastFiles (.ff) that Black Ops 2 uses on PS3 and maybe replace the .gsc inside of them. One of the problems with this is that Black Ops 2 is really good at detecting mods (.sprx/.gsc/RTM Tool) unless you disable the detection in the eboot.bin (which we cannot do on HAN). So you would get banned simply if you were connected to the internet and played a modded Black Ops 2 (without eboot.bin mod detection disabled). For offline purposes though I would assume it could work (modifying the FastFiles I mean), but idk if anyone has. I will leave it at that for now, that is really all I know for this.
Anyways I hope this explanation helps you figure some things out and understand more things a bit. There is someone on my Discord (and here I think) who is researching Black Ops 2 modding on HAN, but I am not sure how much progress he has made (my Discord channel is on my Skyrim Elite Edition v3.0 and Skyrim Elite Edition Modding Guide threads).![]()
First of all excuse my english xD
I might me kinda late to reply to this but i've just red it and im curious, as you might know it has been released a new hybrid firmware for 4.84 and i was wondering if is there any way to mod games like black ops 2 now. As you said its impossible to do it on OFW but im kind of new to this and i thought that maybe with this new HFW it is possible somehow.
Thank you in advance mate!
