I completely forgot how to get these SHOP SEX FW update PUPs till last night while snooping.... there will be people who know exactly how I got this, its not hard lol.

So I thought I would post it for anyone who like's to mess around with stuff like this and for those that like to poke around in files and such. I have not gone though it yet to do a hash check of all the files for it to be compared to other versions of this FW type....

Also it could be added to the PS3 DevWiki for info gathering and record/history/info keeping of this Firmware type for the PS3 @sandungas ....

I've been on kiosk firmware with the vita. it's kinda funny. the system will turn off after five minutes unless you have it plugged in. that used to be how you got a small demo to work with adrenaline. with the ps4, I've heard it's a disaster if you get into idu mode.
 
Try reformatting your USB device to FAT32 MBR, did you check the MD5 of the PUP after downloading and after putting it on your USB device...?

There is nothing wrong with this PUP, it is exactly as is when downloaded from the S@ny servers.
 
Hmmm I've noticed, ever since I installed Han, HFW, Hen etc... My PS3 can't read Kiosk Shop firmwares anymore. ("No applicable update data was found"). This occurs after I install 4.85 OFW via recovery mode to uninstall HEN. I've even tried to update to 4.85 Kiosk via recovery mode, but I'm greeted with the error code 8002F2E4. I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this?
