PS3 Mamba / PRX Autoloader v3.0.0 (unofficial) - PS2 ISO SUpport Added by Team Ps3ITA

(UPDATED) The MAMBA payload since its introduction from developer Estwald (in Iris Manager) possessed many COBRA (CFW) like features and then developer _NzV_ forked the project into the MAMBA / PRX Autoloader and this made COBRA & MAMBA very comparable with each other, but still COBRA had once slight advantage, and that being the ability to play PS2 & PSP ISOs.. Now with the release by Rancid-0 and Team Ps3ITA of Unofficial /MAMBA / PRX Autoloader v3.00 we now have he ability to play PS2[break]s[/break] ISOs. So what is next for MAMBA, the team hints at PSP ISO support next? Until then checkout this unofficial update that is sure to excite MAMBA users as well as the PS3 Hacking Community..

Mamba / Prx Autoloader is a tool originally developed by NzV that adds , to a standard CFW ,almost all function proper of Cobra CFW.
Mamba has only two limitations , cannot load PSP ISO and PS2 ISO. From now the last one limitation does not exists anymore, we've add support to PS2 ISO

UPDATE - 5 FEBRUARY
We have forgot to update the APPID in the "Funny Mamba Autoloader Installer" and it was not working properly, please download the new version (1.01) from the link below.

COMPLETE CHANGELOG
  • PS2 ISO support on CFW CEX/DEX 4.46, 4,50, 4,65, 4,66, 4,70, 4,75, 4,76, 4,78
  • Full compatibility with CFW Rebug (with Cobra mode disabled), after installing mamba you can easily switch between different modes (debug menu , retail, lv2_kernel cex, dex etc..)
  • The new_core has been slightly modified . Nousb flag will be created under /dev_hdd0/tmp/core_flags after first Mamba installation , this disable detection flag from USB devices, but will reset the freeze problems when the console starts and issue related to DEX CFW (if you want to enable the detection of flags from the usb , delete files nousb ,but we don't recommend it, especially if you are on a CFW DEX).Another thing has changed, the new_core now run directly vsh without first starting sys_init_osd_ori.self file, this allows you to use CFW rebug in every modes available and prevents Blue screen error after starting an applications , destroying/harming log file (for further information refer to readme file in the source).
  • Created a "gui" for Mamba installation ;)
  • IMPORTANT NOTE - PS2 ISO are supported only after Mamba installation!

Thanks to @kozarovv & also @xiaoyang for the News Alerts

took me forever to download from turbobit so I made a sendspace mirror https://www.sendspace.com/file/1z85zb

Original was slow for me as well, Thanks for the mirror

Guys, here is a proper translation made by our Twingolover :)

Has anyone tried the "Funny Mamba Autoloader Installer" ? :D

Updated Translation and also just got a chance to try out the GUI and i must say that is a fun way to install.

It's an awesome GUI. I would like to see it as a full game :)

I second that, i would like to see a game created from that.

Also thanks for the mirror because imho, turbobit is similar to uploaded.net, trying to download something with a mobile browser is a nightmare, even impossible with some browsers....
Lots of ads, redirections, pop ups, limited number of downloads...
When there are sendspace/mediafire & mega, I honestly cannot see the point in using such download sites...
Unless one is ready to pay for a pro account.... I know I am not...

not my link but here's another mirror Funny_Mamba_Autoloader_Installer_v1.0.0

I'm getting a "ps3mapi server not loaded!" error at startup. What makes it especially weird is the fact that some web server IS being autoloaded as I can FTP right into the PS3 from the XMB. I can also go into the webmanMOD setting and it works fine but if I try to load a PS3 or PS2 game an error pops up.

I think you need a ps3mapi version of webMAN MOD.

When you go into wMM Setup can you see a PS3MAPI link besides the temperatures?
If not try updating wMM, keep pressing L1 during installation to install the Full edition.
See if you still get that message after reboot.

Yup, link is right there and I can even use all the functions inside PS3MAPI. I went ahead and reinstalled wMM with L1 anyway like you suggested and the error at startup is gone.
Unfortunately loading any kind of game with wMM still doesn't work. When I attempt to load a game it spits out a message with the full path to the game (net0/GAMES/BLESXXXXX-[GAME TITLE]),
then the usual "GAME LOADED" message and a couple seconds after the "ERROR!" message.

What wMM version? What CFW?
Is this only with ps3netsrv?
Have you checked your settings in wMM setup?
Do you have problems with local games on /dev_hdd0 or similar as well?

ntfs drive? have you recently changed USB ports? have you tried refreshing XML/HTML?

Ferrox 4.78
wMM 1.43.25
Settings good.

Just checked and games don't seem to work off internal either. I can load em' up with MM but when it backs out to XMB nothing is mounted on /app_home/

So internal games seem to get mounted WITHOUT an error being thrown by wMM but they are not? You get no disc icon then? Very strange...
Can you try mounting with Gamesonic 3.85?

Well I've been able to remedy the situation by going back to original mamba / autoloader. Unfortunately it's not a FIX but at least I regained all functionality aside from the new PS2 ISO. BTW just wanted to say thanks for trying to help me through the problem.

No problem, that's why we are all here.
I still wonder what was wrong with Mamba 7.2 though...

Very strange, i have not changed anything in the mamba ( i have only added the support to ps2)..

Mmm maybe something is wrong with the new autoloader (new_core)?

I see if i can reproduce the issue..

How did you install the mamba 7.2 + autoloader? Did you have NzV's version installed & working, then installed this version right over it without removing the previous autoloader...?

I remember NzV mentioning last year that he advised removing the autoloader before updating version ...

Mmm.. i tried tha same version of webman and cfw but i have no problem here..

Check if you have the flag "nousb" in /dev_hdd0/tmp/core_flags

I'm running into an error trying to install this on Rebug Rex 4.78.1. I'm trying to install it so I can load PS2 ISO's without the need for a launcher but keep receiving the error below, can anyone help me out please?

Code:
Unofficial MAMBA/PRX Autoloader v3.0.0 (forked from NzV)
[INSTALLER]
/dev_hdd0/game/MAMBAPRXL/USRDIR/NewCore/sys_init_osd.self
Error: Unable to find file
YOU LOSE!

Edit: I guess it's worth noting I'm running Rebug Rex 4.78.1 with Cobra & webMAN 1.43.25 MOD REBUG EDITION turned on. Additionally I have multiMAN 4.78.0 installed and working properly as well.

You turned cobra off right? Mamba & cobra cannot be working at the same time.
Mamba will basically take Cobra's place.

Even with this mamba loader, for wireless sync, you still need a launcher.

Unless you have a bc console or don't care about wireless sync
