PS3 ManaGunZ - PS3 Backup Manager by Zar v1.41

Thanks for the new release @Zar ! One of the best managers, I love your work. =)
I use Managunz in comination with webMAN-MOD.

One question, if I enable widescreen mode in a PS2 title, can I restore the default mode?
Some earlier release I had a problem with one game, I could not restore. I don't remember what game, probably it's already fixed as I think I posted the bug in this forum.

@Zar Would it possible in the future to add PSX options such change memory card, psx emulator version, smoothing filter off/on etc?
This is something that IRISMAN have, if I remember.

What would be really cool if possible would be hacking a sony psx emulator on the fly and add scanlines as an extra filter.
2D games would benefit a lot from it in LED/LCD screens. =)

Yes, I know. But this loader is a modified version of IRISMAN if I read it correctly.

Thank you. I just tested and I noticed I didn't pack the pnatch file correctly, they were inside a subdirectory. So, I rezipped the files, and I rebuilt a new pkg.
The new pkg have this md5 : 9288566c509b0b723223b3ba41a16f66 and it's the same link on github

PS: widescreen pnatch are made for pcsx2, lot of them do not work on the PS3.

Did you upload the package? ManaGunZ_v1.39.pkg currently has md5: 9288566C509B0B723223B3BA41A16F66

(I cleared cache and triple checked)

@Zar Could you subfolder scanning?

I use other IRISMAN forks with PSX games in the PSXGAMES folder
so I can use GameShark. I would also though like to use this manager sometimes for PSX.

Yes, I will

Thank you. Much appreciated.
Also, I prefer using this tool for iso dumping as it doesn't annoyingly hide
the split parts, also it continues dumping even when reading a damaged part of the disc.

Also, could we have an option to change the disc dumping naming scheme? Sort of like:
"Game ID-Game Name"

@Zar, i have been playing around with your 1.39 file manager and have found a couple things along with a couple feature requests. :)

#1: when snapping window to the right side, full screen & left side the buttons work as expected. Once the left side is selected, the button to return to window doesn't do anything. The others seem to do as expected. Hopefully i explained it well enough.

#2: it sees my usb exfat drive an files as expected but i have a folder with 15,000 files that i want to copy to another folder inside internal hdd. As soon as i try to open folder the ps3 freezes and requires me to press the power button to restart.

#3: feature request: add ability to select a whole folder for copy/cut/delete with apropriate options such as overwrite/skip/cancel etc...

#4: feature request: ability to add backgrounds maybe from ultimate toolbox resources, or from a lan location on a network for your own pics.

This is a very nice feature rich file explorer, i like it. great job.

May I add another suggestion to the Filemanager, @Zar ?
Add MD5 verification after copying files from Internal to External HDD or vice-versa.
It would be welcome specially when making backups of PS3 files (like saves, etc).
Compress folders or files to zip and unzip them (nowadays you can do it in webmanmod but only using commands through the browser). The compression ratio could be ZERO, only to store files into a single file, this way transfering files are faster and more stable.

@sbp the #2 is not a freeze, what is happening is it takes some seconds to display all the files inside the folder... try it with a folder containing 50 or 100 files and you will notice it better (sometimes is needed to wait 3 or 5 seconds, etc... i never tryed with 15000 though, lol)

#1 check if the problem happens too with the shorcut buttons (R1+ dpad), there are this 4 actions mapped with that feature:
R1 + Dpad left = dock window to left
R1 + Dpad right = dock window to right
R1 + Dpad up = maximize window
R1 + Dpad down = restore window (to default size)

#3
There is not a confirmation request about overwritings... by default managunz will overwrite the files with the same name
This was something i wanted to request to zar too... i think is needed some kind of warning when ovverwriting (like windows)

#4
The background of the filemanager is the same than the secondary background of the themes (named BGS.PNG as far i remember)
BG.PNG is the main background for the game selector screen
BGS.PNG is for all the other screens (included filemanager)
BGF.PNG <--- and this is my request for a background specific for the filemanager :)

----------
As far i remember you can generate a list with the MD5's for all the files of a folder @Lambada (select the folder with square, then triangle and check MD5 of the folder)... and as far i remember this list can be saved as a .TXT file somewhere
So... is not exactly what you ask for, but i think it can be made modifying a bit the existant functions... the bigger doubt now is how to implement it in the interface, is needed to indicate 2 paths (or mark 2 folders), and a option to compare them
