I have installed HEN for my system that was stock firmware 4.87. I installed HEN for it and have Retroarch working with Atari 2600, Nes, Snes and Sega. I also have multiman working with games from an external usb drive. My questions is why on;'t the stand alone emulators for Nes, Snes or Sega work? I get a black screen and have to unplug the power or an error code. Any ideas?

Don't you think if an account is primary activated Sony will lose the commission on the potential game sale? And if I'm not wrong they charge developers quite a high fee on sales.
Next thing....don't we all care about our home addresses, our transactions, our passwords, our friends list......
Seems pretty big to me if you count that among atleast 1M accounts maybe hacked by now
 
Got what you mean I for one will not ever again buy ***PlayStation Store*** and will buy systems and games now second hand
They lost a loyal customer been backing them since 1990
I never played online and bought all my PS4 games online
So stupid ban can not access games bought or purchase a new game without new account

also do they even realize by banning people from there bought games encourage people to pirate games

I think the loss of potential money is an 'indirect' loss. So, they don't care. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just my feeling. We all care about these data (password... etc) but in a company, especially the big ones, the human aspect is completely off the picture. When I wrote 'they', I was talking about the company itself, not the people working in the company.

I always compare these huge companies like a huge boat with only 1 destination 'lot of money island'. Millions of small boat feed the big boat with coins. They need a lot to get access to the island ;). If a small boat is in trouble, they can't waste time&money to help him especially if nobody else noticed. (if it's not on TV, they don't care). And also, the people on the boat can't change anything, they just work on it, even the leader of the boat can't change the destination. But if there is leak on the huge boat, they will fix it really quickly.
The island doesn't exist ! The ship will sail forever...

I'm saying this about sony but it's also my feelings about all other big companies...

Btw, since the release of the PS5 there are some interconnected features related with the user profiles and PSN that could affect PS3 firmware
Im thinking in the trophy lists, in the past, when the PSVita was released the PS3 firmware was updated to allow to display the PSV trophies in PS3

It seems there are some .sprx related with trophies and explore_plugin that has been updated in PS3 OFW 4.87... nobody reported if the PS3 4.87 is able to display the trophies from PS5... but maybe it does ? :rolleyes:

But the problem is I didn't look for anybody else having the same problem so my dumbass downloaded the OFW 4.87 and then shortly after I downloaded the 4.87 hen thing you guys put up and but I can't play mw3 mw2 or bo1 because I modded the three games I think and I get error code 80010009 if I try loading the games anything suggestions on what I should do???

Nah, when it was released i thought of it, but i decompiled its rcos, no tag for PS5

But in case they add it in the future versions, i already added it to my rco alongside the PS5 trophy icons, i just waiting for the sprx :P

About the changes in the emulators, checking its version.txt the revs are the same O.o

same error in my ps3 hen
 
very easy to fix if that works on hen. just right click if you have ps3 tools installed and resign the encrypted files (may even be able to do the pkg itself without extracting it, but I don't remember). some files will not work even with a resigning though, because some used tricks to force themselves to work back on 3.55.
