Its much better having Hazard masks because you are much more protected than with a normal mask that people are buying.

Not sure what everyone is so worried about.
They been bottling the vaccine for years now,
Take 12 bottles daily, lime optional..
In all seriousness its been a bit over hyped. IMO.
A worry and sad that its happening to people, but not as much panic is needed.

People should really panic because it may become pandemic. In Italy more than 29 people died more than 400 infected.
Things getting pretty bad in Iran. Official death toll & number of infected are much higher & Coronovirus outbreak in Iran started just 10 days ago!

Maybe. But Italy is more transparent about the situation while Iran is trying to conceal it. This problem won't go away by concealing the facts.

It was swine flu, zika, now coronvirus, next year it will be something different.
There is shit out there that will make you sick, its either going to or not. No sense in worrying about it.
Take normal precuations as you would in your normal daily lives.
Obviously if your in an area with alot of caes more precautions. ..
Really about the same as an flu outbreak that also can cause deaths.
You have much worse things to worry about if that is a worry things that much greater odds to actually harm you.

now, that's interesting. I had wondered how the virus got that name.
Well, the world runs on hope. There is an unshakable hope in people that world is guaranteed of continuity. No matter what happens, the world moves on. I mean we had
the great plague of Europe, two world wars, survived cold war & threat of nuclear war, & countless challenges in human history. We are still here.
But sometimes, i do question this basic idea. Who gave us this guarantee of continuity of world? Is this really unshakable guarantee?

Ye thats right the plague killed more than half of europe there were much more terrible diseases throughout human history and yet people managed to find the cure for those diseases we hope to find a cure fast for coronavirus as today medicine is much more advanced than before.
I hope you are right. Its the governments reaction in China that makes me think its a lot more serious than the flu.

we'd probably be even more advanced if not for the dark ages, when science was deemed heresy. that was like 800 years or so.
Speculation on my side:
1. Panic will continually rise because the Sars-Covid-19 Virus was underestimated severely in terms of the reproduction factor along with the variables of being contagious even with light symptoms or none at all plus the very long incubation period (on average 7 to 14 days, with extreme cases up to 27 days)
2. National Health Institutions (of individual nations) will decide to stop making numbers public once they realize the virus spread can't be contained anymore but will still try to slow its spread via quarantine measures so the severe cases can be treated gradually and not all at once (which will be chaotic in many countries)
3. Life will eventually return to normal while people will learn to accept that this novel virus is now a common disease just like the flu. Specifically this means that we will learn the hard way to accept loss of lives during the next months/years because there is no cure or way around it. The absolute earliest we will see a cure at all is 2021 because testing and trials are extremely important to reduce side-effect risks and long-term effects.
Altogether a very sad situation that really shows how we humans don't have the type of control over everything as we assumed. And yeah the officially reported numbers of infected people are only the tip of the iceberg because the disease for many is similiar to a flu and there are not enough test-kits to test the mild cases.
The worst case would be if reinfections (bi-phasic like anthrax) are a common occurrence but either way we would have to learn to live with it..

Coronavirus is actually underhyped. Chinese Govt, US Govt, Iranian Govt etc all tried to conceal facts & ignore the seriousness of situation. That's one of the reasons this problem got so big.
Just few hours ago, Trump said that US is now "superprepared" to deal with Coronavirus. Two days ago, Trump was saying that Coronavirus was FAKE NEWS, there is no emergency.
Also find out about some facts. See US making these foolish mistakes. The healthcare professionals that went to evacuate US citizens in China were not wearing proper protective gear!! And upon their return, they did not get tested & quarantined themselves.
China initially tried to cover up Coronavirus outbreak. Though some people say, they did not anticipated the seriousness of crisis so they made a mistake. Iran is trying to cover up Coronavirus deaths.
I posted a news about China's factories which nobody noticed. China's factories are shutting down & its so bad that manufacturing has fallen to historic low. Even lower than 2008 global recession when demand of consumer goods fell to lowest levels.
