Dark Souls, use ps3gameconvert instead of CFW2OFW Helper. I will add this to my guide soon.

As for the ps3gameconvert.. i couldn't find this nowhere on google

Searching "ps3gameconvert" i always get results pointing to CFW2OFW ..

Where can i get this progam? I need it for exclusive method for Dark Souls

how to determine if the dlc needs just resigning or needs its rap

1. If the PKG does not contain EBOOT.BIN, .sprx, .self or .edat: It does not need a rap and you just need to resign the PKG.
2. If the PKG contains a C00 folder it only needs an .edat to unlock the game. It does not need a rap; just resign the PKG.
3. If the title id of the game is NPxx9xxxx it's likely that it's a demo: It does not need a rap; just resign the PKG.
4. PKG contains an EBOOT.BIN, .sprx or .self (and none of the above), it's likely that it needs a rap. To confirm, extract the EBOOT (.self or .sprx) and decrypt it. If it shows an error decrypting, then it needs a rap.

BTW the official site of ps3xploit says that only PS1, PS2 and PSP packages need to be resigned. Also debug retail packages. Official packages don't need to be resigned.

Has anyone gotten the 80029f17 error? I got the error with Gran Turismo 4. The game is compatible with the ps3 ps2 classics emulator as per the compatibility list.

I don't know where I'm going wrong and I've followed every step to a T.

When converting.. i get the Game.. patch and lic PKG
Is there a way to merge all these pkgs or at least merge 2 or more LIC pkgs into a single one?

Helo guys! I don't want to play online with my personal PSN account, I just want to play offline games in it, in order to win the trophies. I want to get into PSN just to sync the trophies on my account, and I'd sort it out, like ... once a month. I only use PSN to buy / make game updates / synchronize trophies. When playing the new user we created for HAN the trophies go to him, and for me it's not interesting. Would you reduce the chance of banishment by doing this?

Hi, when I start the game Borderlands - The Pre-Sequel goes out and I get error 80010007, according to the list should be compatible without any special fix, I'll be doing something wrong? I have made the same process specified in this tutorial with 7 different games and is the only one that gives me that error, I would appreciate any help.

The Package Manager it pass on backups? Making a backup containing this progam, if other ps3 restore this backup .. the Package Manager will be there?

Hello, first of all thank you for this great tutorial.

I've followed all steps for PS2 game backup, but my Shin Megami Tensei Lucifer's Call runs with no sound, i did something wrong? I hope is not version issue.

No, the package manager is part of the fw stored on flash, the backup utility will only back up some of the hdd files. Use the han installer to add package manager to ofw.

Hi @Fin9ersMcGee

You tutorials are great mate.

I have a question. I recently downloaded the official pkg of Alien Isolation from the official PS3 servers. I got the rap file as well. Everything went smoothly, until I started the game and the error said "Error Code 80010007".

What is the cause of this problem?

Other games that I installed via this method has worked without a hitch. Any solutions ?
