PS3 Official PS3HEN v3.3.0 + HFW Released for 4.91 Firmware from Team PS3Xploit

The Official PS3HEN exploit has been updated to v3.3.0 with some new changes from @esc0rtd3w and @Joonie of Team PS3Xploit to support 4.91. Also, developer Joonie has brought back the webkit exploit from 4.82 to 4.91 with the official HFW release (HFW = OFW with old webkit injected). Its best to use the official HFW when using the official PS3HEN release.

PS3HEN is an exploit useful for PS3 Console's that do not have the ability to install a CFW ( those later Slim & SuperSlim Models). While it can be installed on all PS3 Models, PS3HEN is not as powerful as Custom Firmware is on your console, but PS3HEN is not far behind and has plenty of features to get the most out of your console. We have created a guide detailing and comparing the differences between the two exploits CFW and PS3HEN, that can be seen > here < You can checkout full details about PS3HEN and setup in the Official Thread linked below.

Next up (for CFW user's), we should see soon (be patient - testing) bguerville's PS3 Toolset updated for CFW user's who may of accidentally updated to 4.91 Official Firmware (OFW) or by wrong advice elsewhere installed a HFW by mistake (some unofficial ones floating around with wrong advice). Or simply trying out CFW for the first time and are on 4.91 OFW.

Hello team and developers Possible assistant why all sites are closed to download hen 3.3.0

I've just tried AutoHEN, PS3Xploit and HEN Alternate. Everything is up and running.

What are you trying to do and what is your current FW and system configuration?.

I'm trying to install hen 3.3.0 but the site is under maintenance from yesterday I don't know when it comes back running

@esc0rtd3w @LuanTeles
Got a suggestion, could you make the same egg icon out of the current HEN icon except for only disabling HEN since you can't really remove it from XMB right away after enabling? and perhaps use the same method to disable PSN to avoid accidently logging in with HEN syscalls enabled and name the new disable icon "Disable HEN"
I would like to test this idea on my superslim.

we technically have those icons already in package, and a method to switch icon right away (@LuanTeles )....but, the problem is, the hen_enable.xml doesnt refresh with package manager and HFW Tools, except when xmb is seemingly fully refreshed. So, if the user clicks the icon before xmb is fully refreshed, it will try to launch HEN again from JS in XML, from before the remap happens. Once the xmb is reloaded, the remapped XML would be fine, and no action would occur, which we can also swap icon at the same time, without more code. I am messing with the refresh thing now, and seeing if there is a better way to do it in hen. If we can get it to fully refresh, we can swap icon or hide it instantly, and have a toggle to choose which one

This is perfectly normal and not a bug; System Information will always read simply 4.90, 4.84, etc even if you install 4.90.1, 4.84.2 etc. When you go to update from USB it will show the extra decimal place and version revision, but once installed System Information will only show the main version such as 4.90. Hope this helps.
I can't go online now, unfortunately. Is there a fix to have the main version show up as 4.91, so we can go online?

There is no fix. If you are on 4.90, then you can use webman to spoof version and go online. Or just update to 4.91 HFW and go online. The version in system does not change because its OFW with a few replaced signed OFW files from older firmware, to allow old exploit to work.

Hi everyone....I have 12gb superslim with hen already on it...I want to know if I want to add a larger internal hdd, does it copy everything to the internal hdd so I don't have to do the whole hen activation again?

Hen 3.30 doesn't enable the first time....clock just spins and only on the 3rd attempt does it enable.

Why is that?
Well, its not a feature.

Please explain in more detail what your setup is.

HEN is installed? Enable HEN icon is on XMB, and that is what you are referring to?

Normally, it works within a few seconds, the first time.

Are you getting a HEN failed message? On first time? Red letters? It informs you to reboot console if thats the case.

Are you enabling 3 times without reboot, returning to XMB each time and it works on the third time?

It shouldn't matter, but is there a disc in the drive?

Not sure what the issue is exactly.

You can try clearing cache.

Hen is installed. Hen icon is showing up. It is when I click on the Hen icon the clock icon spins and Hen and webman doesn't activate first time.

I didn't know that the cache can have an influence. Where do I clear it?

Clear cache is under tools, in web browser. Click triangle.

I noticed you didn't say whether you had a disc in the drive either.

Remove any disc and unplug anything from USB just to test.
