PS3 (OFW 4.82) SuperSlim cech-4011c with RLOD

So he needs to initialize vtrm. There is no way to do this on superslim yet.
No keys to get into the FSM, no keys to sign the diag program.

Actually, I think it might now be possible to "fix rsod" on 3xxx & 4xxx superslims using a new ps3xploit tool leveraging the vtrm interface manager via lv2 syscall 862 to reinitialise the vtrm region.

How to launch the exploit if no XMB access?

You are of course entirely correct. Indeed it's impossible without xmb access, where was my head at? Lol
The capabilities are there in theory, vtrm can be reinitialised but without being able to fire up the browser, it's obviously a no go for rsod fix. And the chain of trust remains in the way for alternatives.

Btw @sandungas I was wondering about the "tamper proof" chip holding the boot loader as described in the wiki pages related to the chain of trust. Do you know of any more data posted about it somewhere else?

Ok guys, soo i cant do anything... Thanks for the replyes! really apreciatte the time you take to try to help me guys.

Not needed to close it, eventually could appear someone wanted to talk about it or with other ideas

Sorry i missed this quote, but anyway i dont know about that chip, i cant imagine what is it or where is located, maybe is refered to the SPE's inside CELL ?

Just found this pretty unfortunate to hear there is a legit RSOD for the later PS3s
I guess I was correct about this, chain of trust in the way until something comes out about the DPA on a retail superslim.
