OPL 0.9.3 (PS2 emulator) instructions for use with the PS3

i'm not using PS2 Classics,i'm using gx_emu on cechc,iso mounted with webman MOD or IRISMAN.

@sp193 looks like latest daily build OPL don't work on ps3, i only tested on non-bc model anyway. OPL 0.9.1 works on my ps3. Not tested other versions. I saw that you removed ps3 detection based on xparam2 in rom, maybe is still required to do whatever was done when ps3 was detected.

I attached files so others can test on bc/semibc. opl091 should work. FYI @umart666

edit:

renamed it to opl091 and opllast (both bin and cue files) and ftp it to the PS2ISO folder on my internal hdd.webman MOD sees both bins and is able to mount them but right after playstation2 logo it freezes on black screen/prompt to press PS logo on controller.same thing happens with both bins/versions.

IRISMAN doesn't see the bins.

tried with straight copy without renaming,same symptoms.

edited that uLaunch iso vith opl 091.elf from official github (regular version),it boots,can as instructed here go to cdfs: it seed the opl elf,when launched again it goes to blackscreen and freezes.

I've tried OPL 0.9.1 and OPL 0.9.2 as ISO's and here are my results:
OPL 0.9.1 attempts to boot, but then just returns to the PS3's XMB.
OPL 0.9.2 attempts to boot, but gets stuck at a black screen. Unlike OPL 0.9.3 the controller can still be used to exit from the game so a hard reset isn't required.

So looks like older OPL can boot only on non-bc PS3, and latest can't boot at all.

if you want i could try with netemu and exclude gx_emu as a culprit but i'm not interested in running games with netemu even if they could be mounted from network or external hdd...
