Excuse me for my sheer ignorance,but what i see here, but what i see its MadzGaming complaining,and he isnt a huge stranger to the gaming scene, besides he is a huge XBOX Fanboy,which there is no denying it, there are other types of XBOX speciments such as CrapGamer, Colt Eastwood and Xbox Mil Grau, others already opened they´re eyes and admited the Consoles lack of Software.
Personaly in terms of consoles, i have been with PlayStation,since i bought my PlayStation2 on launch day, nearly 18 years ago, ever since, i have been sticking with PlayStation, its just my platform of choice, although i also prefer to game on PC for muliplats and graphical fidelity, but that doesn´t mean i didnt owned a few XBOX´es along the way, i owned the Original and the X360, they both are great in every aspect, they had a unique catalog of XBOX Exclusives,which were really appealing at the time, they are still both great consoles to own in 2019.
Now into the 8th Generation, Microsoft dropped the ball, and dropped it hard, relying only on the XBOX Trinity "Halo,Gears & Forza", not to mention the quality of thoes games its borderline poor, Halo was the only reason to buy an XBOX, after Bungie split from Microsoft, the preeceding titles, were no where near as good, as the previous ones on Xbox One, State Of Decay and Crackdown 3, i wont discuss them any further, Metacritic scores speak from themselfs, and this isnt about "Media Bias" its about targeting the right audience with the right content, and the delivery of such content was poor, console sales are poor, everything at the moment with XBOX brand its poor, not to mention they started to release theyre "exclusives" on other platforms,and using the XBOX brand as a service, and launching XBOX Play Anywhere on other platforms its imminent.
Majority of XBOX Fanboys, rely heavy on XBOX Game Pass, due to cheap price, they rather to wait for a brand new AAA Title to be available on Game Pass for 1$, then pay full price at launch, which developers need to cover they´re expenses,and they are not taking risks on a subscription fee which will bring them to bankruptcy.
Another point XBOX its missing out, its Games Variety & Exclusives, which clearly PlayStation its the way to go, XBOX again relys on Multiplatforms and In-House XBOX Trinity to catch the intrests of the public, the Original XBOX and 360 had a great catalog of Japanese Developers on board, the One however lacks that, XBOX Loyalists have no intrests on Childish Japanese Games,and Japanese Developers clearly dont have any intrests in bringing theyre creations to a console that wont sell, not to mention if the game its not an exclusive and therefore available on other platforms, users have no intrests in buying the console as well.
Flexing on the Hardware, its another misleading point, if you dont have anything at the table to impress the public, in terms of RAW Computing Capability, the XBOX One X its clearly the most powerful console, thats no denying it,hands down, but when you lacking the Software Support for it, it becomes nothing more than just a 500$ 4K Flexing machine, and 99% of XBOX Titles are on PC,which PC wins on RAW Performance, at the fraction of the cost and maintenence, the X costs 500$ at launch,but in the long term its loses to Dollar to Performace Ratio against PC.
I like how he describes his PS4 Pro, sounds like a Jet Engine, while that statement its true, not all consoles behave the same, that depends on how well you maintain it, and keep it dust free, yes the Original CUH-7000 was a noise hog, the precceding model the 7100 reduced that for a bit, now for the 7200 the noise was reduced drastically, i personaly made a final ending life cycle upgrade to a PS4 Pro CUH-7200 after owning a CUH-2016A Slim for the past 2.5 Years, and this Pro its quite as it can get,which i am really impressed,but only time will tell.
In the end, everyone can choose theyre prefered platform, but what Madz its doing its straight denying the reality and whinning about the competition, if XBOX was doing great, i am sure the Tables would flip, this is just straight crying over a piece of plastic,which its quite sad,but well, i am an open minded user, so ill always buy both, if they show me something worth buying it over, and clearly PlayStation has done that, and i am more than satisfied with my purchase, if "Scarlett" shows me something worth put my money on, then i would be more than happy to give them,but Halo,Gears and Forza every year for me wont cut it,when i can play then on a PC.
They have their ups and downs but they are both good.
I said other people compared Forza to GT, pointed out they are different game's. Then compared Forza to NFS which is the closest game you can compare it to and its sh!t compared to NFS.....
